I want to say thank you to all the people that came by the TFN/Rebelscum booth. It really was a lot of fun for the staff to meet the people that visit our sites.

I want to say thank you to my brothers and sisters of the Empire (and even the Jedi of the Rebel Legion) for showing at least some sort of organization. So far it seems that most people are unhappy with WOTC but have nothing but praise of the soldiers of the Empire.

P.S. If anyone has pics of the Imperial Guard with the Glaive weapon of Crimson Empire and velvet double slit cloak, please let me know. That was me and unfortunately, I have no pics of myself in costume :(

Want to see something disturbing? Watch Carter dance to "Stayin' Alive".

    \\shudder\\

    ;)

EDIT: Azeem, I saw ya on Sunday morning out on the street. :) Didn't say hi though. :)

    HAH! That was FUNNY! [face_laugh]

I've seen PA WARS/DUEL OF THE FAKES (amomg all the other TFN fanfilms) zillions of times, but they just seemed funnier there for some reason.

Oh, and Chris? Not that my groove is any better or anything, but.... bwuahahahahaha! [face_laugh]

Okay, yeah that was me. I remember doing that but didn't know anyone else saw it :D

And if you think my dancing is bad, you should hear my singing

    ;)

Gotta say this: during the past five days, I met some of the most wonderful, endearing people that I've met my entire life. Every single person who came by and spoke with us or caught us walking around, was a sheer pleasure to meet. I met fans from as nearby as Indianapolis and as far away as Russia. From age birth to 85. Of every color and creed imaginable. All of us, come together to share a common passion for, at last, a myth for ourselves.

Action figure shortages and long lines aside, it was a honking fun time :)

It was nice meeting you too, Azeem. :) Even if you didn't have a clue who I was. :( At least Chris had seen me around the JC and recognized my name when I introduced myself. :D ;)

It was nice meeting you too, Grimby. :) Not everybody gets Jedi escort (among various other characters/posters from these boards) late at night. :D ;)

Love your new sig, btw. :)

Sorry Bria ... working the booth was crazy.

At least you stopped by. A lot of people said they couldn't get to our booth because of crowds.

I stopped by your guy's booth like 4 or 5 times throughout the weekend but never introduced myself- too shy. [face_blush]

I was hoping to meet some JCers there (I had a big "~Sithman~" sign on my back but no one ever recognized me. :(

    Oh well. :-\

It was good to meet some fellow FF folk!

I certainly enjoyed my 2 hours at the FF table on Saturday. Darth Hair and all the other people from RMFF who were at the table...you're awesome. :)

And Gimby and Bobafemme and Bria...it was good to meet you too. :)

I just wish I could've met more of you. :)

i went up to the fan tables but it was pretty deserted.

I don't come out of the fan films forum often so I don't know many of the JC.

Until the moment Scott and I met at the airport on Wednesday night, I hadn't been *completely* sure whether TFN was a real thing, or a figment of my delirious imagination. Then I started meeting the rest of staff, and more people from the boards. Gradually during the first day or so the multiple dimensions of abstractedness collapsed into one definitive wavelength of concrete reality... so that by the time Indianapolis was a receding smudge on the horizon behind me, there was no doubting that TFN - and everyone with it - are indeed real.

Anyone else have that same feeling after this past week? :D

The fan tables were deserted because you couldn't get to them without going up the same stairs you had to use to go to get tickets for main events. Half the time people couldn't even get up those stairs because security kept additional people from getting to the second floor because lines were at capacity.

I'm sure a lot more people would have made it to the fan tables if they could get to them :( .

No one's fault, Sebulba (I think that's who arranged it) did a great job getting those tables, circumstances just made it work out badly.

I still met a lot of great people who showed interest in the fanforce and were excited about either it being in their area, or the idea of starting their own chapter.

Other than printing the Indy Knights Banner and making the George Lucas Thank You Card, I had nothing to do with the Fan Club room...but it was a nice place to hang out, far enough from the madness, but still amoungst fans.

I know Azeem. I was just joking around. The TF.N booth was crazy much of the time. :p I'm glad when I went and bought my shirt on Sunday things were reasonably calm. :D

TheHuntressDiana: It was nice meeting you too. Like I said, I loved your flyer. R2 is the best! :)

Chris Knight: I know exactly what you mean. At first everything was so surreal it was hard to believe I was actually there. But then that faded and I enjoyed CII for the blast that it was. :D

Obi_Wannabe is correct about the tables. I worked an hour on Friday and Saturday and probably 20 minutes or so on Sunday, but didn't see as many people as I expected. Sure, I did see people from the boards, and talk about FanForce to people who had never heard of it, but not in the numbers I expected. I know first hand though how hard it was at times to get up to the FF room. :(

Sebulba-X: It was very nice to finally meet you. :) That is so cool you got to hang out with Fem Taylor in the autograph area. :D

Hope you all enjoyed yoursleves despite the glitches and lines, you should've just imagined you were at King's Island (or insert your fave amusement park)

If it happens again in 2005 you better believe it will be even better!!!!!!

"you should've just imagined you were at King's Island (or insert your fave amusement park)."

Um, dude, this was 100X better than ANY amusement park. Way, way, way, way, better.
I say, "just realize that you're at the largest gathering of Star Wars fans ever to date with over 30 stars from the movies in the same building as you."

The TFN booth *was* a crazy place to hang out. And it only got crazier every time Anthony jumped up on that chair and bellowed from his mighty lungs "HEY WE GOT AN EPISODE THREE SHIRT TO GIVE AWAY!!!!!"
