Ok, in US History AP I have to do a research paper on a American from the 19th and 20th century who could be in a "US History Hall of Fame". I choose Lucas. NOW I have to find like ten sources about him and three "criteria" on why I picked him!!!

    Isn't this cheating? ;)

Oh, yeah, there are several books about Lucas out there. Might I suggest a visit to your local library?

What do you man by sources and criteria... then maybe we could help a little more.

What things do you need? Like what he did to make him qualified to be in the "US History Hall of Fame"?

Does it have to be a biography of him?

If I get some more info, then maybe I can help. :)

I remember seeing a book in the library a few years ago called SKYWALKING that was a Lucas autobiography.

This is just advice Emily, but you may want to pick another person to research, someone you can find more information about in different sources.

He was on A & E's Biography once. Is that the kind of alternate sources you're looking for?

Em, do you just need a list of books or articles or the books and articles themselves? When do you need them? Or do you need websites? Or do you need a list of accomplishments? PM me your e-mail. I probably would be able to e-mail you some articles from magazines and from a biographical database. Please let me know.

As for the criteria, you can simply say that he revolutionized movie filming and the standards for preserving film (THX) for archiving and records...

Tell of all the technological advances he's halped create at ILM and the changes he invoked through revolutionalizing popular film as we know it with CGI, using war film type style for filming, space battles, digital filming, ect.

Tell of all the technological advances he's helped create at ILM...

That already was one of my criteria's....

I found like five books and two TV shows about him...Skywalking was ok, I also found two videos, one from A&E and another from Biography.

Close Encounters of the Third Kind
    Greace
    American Graffiti
    THX 1138 ;)

If you go to IMDb.com, and you type in a '70s movie, you can browse all the movies from that year.

    Greetings, blokes.

    Can't forget "A Clockwork Orange."

    Controversial? No doubt.
    Brilliant? Naturally.
Made in the 70's? You bet!

Wonders if it is still banned in England,
    Yours Truly

Beltayn, If you couldn't sleep, you have been hanging around with the JKOC too long because insomnia seems to be a problem we suffer from at times.
