Beyond - Legends That Don't Impress Me (J/K,J,Z Humor)

This is a humorous songfic about Jaina and the three dark haired green eyed guys in her life. Now to let everyone know that I actually like all of those 3 guys, but this got into my head and I just had to write it.

That Don't Impress Me

Jaina is standing and arguing with a dark haired green eyed man. The argument quickly escalates.

I've known a few guys who thought they were pretty smart
But you've got being right down to an art
You think you're a genius-you drive me up the wall
You're a regular original, a know-it-all

Jaina tries to say something, but the guy cuts in. She finally throws her hands up in the air and storms out.

Oh-oo-oh, you think you're special
Oh-oo-oh, you think you're something else

The guy goes after her and grabs her shoulder. They start talking but it escalates.

Okay, so you're a rocket scientist
That don't impress me much

Jaina just shakes her head and waves her hands at the guy, telling him to basically get lost, and walks off

So you got the brain but have you got the touch
Don't get me wrong, yeah I think you're alright
But that won't keep me warm in the middle of the night
That don't impress me much

Jaina walks into the mess hall; on the other side of it she sees another dark haired green eyed man; he is surrounded by women.

I never knew a guy who carried a mirror in his pocket
And a comb up his sleeve-just in case
And all taht extra hold gel in your hair oughtta lock it
'Cause Heaven forbid it should fall outta place

Oh-oo-oh, you think you're special
Oh-oo-oh, you think you're something else

Jaina watches him flirt with the women with a look of slight annoyance on her face.

Okay, so you're Brad Pitt
That don't impress me much

She rolls her eyes, turns on heel and heads out of the mess hall.

So you got the looks but have you got the touch
Don't get me wrong, yeah I think you're alright
But that won't keep me warm in the middle of the night
That don't impress me much

Jaina steps into the hangar; she immediately notices a third dark haired green eyed man working on a ship.

You're one of those guys who likes to shine his machine
You make me take off my shoes before you let me get in
I can't believe you kiss your car good night

She sees him polishing up his ship and watches incrudiously.

C'mon baby tell me-you must be jokin', right!

Oh-oo-oh, you think you're special
Oh-oo-oh, you think you're something else

Jaina covers her mouth smothering a snort.

Okay, so you've got a car
That don't impress me much

She shakes her head and leaves.

So you got the moves but have you got the touch
Don't get me wrong, yeah I think you're alright
But that won't keep me warm in the middle of the night

Jaina hops a turbolift up.

That don't impress me much
You think you're cool but have you got the touch

But that won't keep me warm on the long, cold, lonely night

She steps out in an empty observation level.

Okay, so what do you think you're Elvis or something...

She leans against one of the windows and thinks back to the three guys.

Whatever

She rolls her eyes and shakes her head amusedly; turns around to face the window and stares out.

That don't impress me

That was quite clever! I liked how you didn't say who each guy was, but left clues in on who they could be. Is the order Jag, Kyp and Zekk, or is it supposed to be a mystery?

It's supposed to be a mystery (even to me ), but I most often see the theird guy as Jag and the first two interchangeable between Kyp and Zekk, but they all fit under the different ones. Which is most of the reason I left it a mystery.

As far as there being so little text... Sorry about that, this was only my second go at writting a songfic and my first writing one for SW; I could see it all happening in my head and when I finally wrote it down it was shorter than I had thought it would be but I still liked it.
