That just ain't right...superstars in other jerseys

What are the weirdest looking sports jerseys ever to you?

Mine:

Johnny Unitas Chargers
Joe Namath LA Rams
Earl Campbell New Orleans Saints

 

Joe Montana in a Chiefs uniform is weird... as is Rice in an Oakland or Seattle jersey.

 

I saw someone around here once actually wearing a Jerry Rice Seahawks jersey...that was a bit strange.

The strange thing about Joe Montana with the Chiefs is that's what team he was on in my earliest football memories. For a long time, the 49ers jersey was the one that looked weird to me.

 

When Bret Hull went from the Blues to the Stars it was tough for me. Now he's also been on the Redwings and Coyotes. I just can't get used to it.

Hey, I happen to like that one I have that Jersey. It was my brother's when we were kids so now it fits me well.

Wade Boggs, Devil Rays (I think the fact he somehow requested to have that on his cap led to the league and writers determining that)

 

Just about anyone who was good on the 49ers will retire with another team.

 

If anyone picks up Ben Hart in the preseason draft I will have an excellent candidate for this list.

Also: Dermot Brereton in a Collingwood guernsey

 

Emmit Smith in a Cardinals jersey.

At least he retired a Cowboy.

 

Bernie Kozar in a Convicts jersey.

 

Vinatieri in a colts jersey. Ugh.

And I'm still not used to Pedro in a mets jersey. I grew up with Pedro being the Sox dominator; I can't get used to him on another team.

 

Pedro, to me, is and was and always will be an Expo.

Marcus Allen in a Kansas City Chiefs jersey. That was just icky.

 

Thurman Thomas finished his career with the Miami Dolphins.

For Saints fans, it was hard seeing Ricky Jackson in a 49ers jersey, but he won the SuperBowl with them. Also, Bobby Herbert in a Falcons jersey was weird.

As a Braves fan, seeing Tommy Glavin in a Mets jersey is tough.

Seeing Patrick Ewing in a Seattle Super Sonics or Orlando Magic jersey or Hakeem Olajuwon in Toronto were also weird.

 

Why I don't see anything wrong with this.

4. Forsberg wearing a Flyers jersey
5. Ray Bourque wearing an Avs jersey

I'd forgotten about that one... that was just as bad as the Wizards jersey.

 

1.) Babe Ruth in a Redsox jersey. I know that was his original team, but it still is strange to me.
2.) Joe Montana in a Chiefs jersey.
3.) Ronnie Lott in an Oakland Raiders jersey.
4.) Andy Pettitte in an Astro's jersey (thanks God he is coming home!)
5.) A-Rod in a Yankee's jersey still doesn't look right to me.
