ST That's it. I'm convinced who the "Knights of Ren" are.

That's it. I'm convinced the "Knights of Ren" are nothing more then a offshoot of "The Inquisitors" from "Star Wars: Rebels". I present the evidence:

In “Star Wars Rebels” Season Two, past lives will be revealed and the destiny of our heroes will be changed forever. The transformative new season resumes with Imperial oppression on Lothal growing stronger and the rebels seeking out new allies and additional resources to sustain their fight against the evil Empire. With the help of Ahsoka Tano, the crew of the Ghost enlists some old friends: ex-clone troopers who fought in the Clone Wars. As the rebels grow in number, so do their enemies. New Inquisitors are dispatched by Darth Vader and sent to crush any threat of rebellion. Through dangerous rescue missions, thrilling space chases, and spectacular lightsaber duels – the bond of our rebel crew will be put to the test like never before."

It says that Darth Vader sends out "The Inquistors". Which means that he controls them, and I would go so far as to say train them. If that is indeed the case, then "The Knights of Ren"'s devotion to Darth Vader would make perfect sense. And their lack of mention in The Original Trilogy could be explained away easily by saying that Darth Vader could not send "The Inquistors" after Luke Skywalker because he couldn't risk his sons death. And the Emperor approved Darth Vader diverting all his attention to finding his son because to the Emperor, Luke was his ideal candidate for a Apprentice. Now I'm exhausted. ☺

2) why not put this in the existing Knights of Ren thread rather than starting a new thread?

 

Luke Skywalker would never have fear of the inquisitors, they are very weak.

From now on, I'm calling them the Interviewers.

 

I could see the Order of Inquisitors being one of the main villains before the bigger threat that are the Knights of Ren show up and make their move.Basically each major event causes a power vacuum and a new replacement so victory never seems to be there.

My theory is that they're those weird folk from Twin Peaks.

 

I wish they were tv installers, because they'd be more punctual than the ones I'm waiting for.

 

Then explain the Name Knights of Ren. Why would Vader just come up with that name for them?

They are Knights of Ren, not Knights of Vader. They're something we can pretty much guess, but otherwise have never seen before.

 

I thought everyone knew they went on a crusade to Mustafar to claim Anakin's burnt limbs from the molten lava.

 

Yeah, Luke would crush them..
