they shoudl do the draft like this every year...it made it MUCH more exciting to watch (or listen to, for me). It was so nerve-wracking, cause they started at #30, and went down to #1. Anaheim was #2.

I can't even begin to tell you how happy i am i'll get to watch some REAL hockey in just a few months...there's a rumour that the price of the hockey package is going to be cut in half for this year...

As a goalie I don't like it. It would be like ending a basketball game with a game of "Pig", but the fans like it so it's good for the game.

 

I think it's cool! Shootouts are exciting

I don't mind the shootout so much, even though I had nothing wrong with the ties. The rinks being bigger should make it more exciting. And go Avalanche!

 

Ths stacked up Avs teams your used to are probably a thing of the past as well. Did you see the Flyers bought out Amonte and LeClair?

 

That's kind of what I am worried about. Who on our team are we going to get rid of? Forseberg, Sakic, Hedjuk, Blake,... Just to name a few.

 

Well maybe if players would be willing to take less money that woudldn't be a problem. Forsberg's quote was "I hope they can afford me." Guess what if you're going to be an a-hole and HAVE to make the amount you were making before, then that will be no one.

 

I didn't here about that. If that is the case, then we really do not need him. Heck, we won the Stanley Cup a few years ago with him on the sidelines, no reason why we could not do it again. Besides, I had heard rumors after the last season played that he was going to play in Sweden for his father.

 

I miss the Nordiques

 

I was not even following the NHL when they were in Quebec. I became an Avs fan during their first season in Colorado when they won the Stanley Cup. What is a Nordique or however it is spelled anyway?

It's like a wolf or something, at least that's what there new logo was going to be before they moved. I have the McFarlane Foresberg in the Qubec jersey. They were my favorite team until they traded Thibault and Fiset.
