Malgus-- Textile's not quite the certifiable badass that Malgus is.

KiMundo/Dark Woman-- Gethzerion did some root canals and blindsided a Bantam-level Luke, Talzin's fight with Windu lasted like 25 seconds. I think Dark Woman can counter the surprise of their magic, and I like her and Mundi's experience more.

Ulic/Cay vs. Jaina Solo

Awesome match. And ridiculously close, I started to type it up multiple times.

Jaina went through some **** in the NJO, then reached even another level in LotF. Ulic just straight trashes everyone he meets, bulldozing bad guys (and, uh, good guys) like Anakin Skywalker Lite. Plus he can boast a similar showing of skills without the Force. Cay isn't even sniffing these two talent-wise, but he's got excellent cohesion with his brother AND the ability to bring Battle Meditation into the fray.

The more I flip-flopped, the more I had to visualize the fight...and the more I kept going back to Jaina crushing Yuuzhan Vong Slayers up the Citadel run. But then Ulic blowing up Mandalore's existence. But then Jaina taking on the Warmaster while stuck in blorash jelly. But then Cay bolstering his brother or pressing the 2-on-1 advantage. But then Jaina vs. Jacen. Twice.

So two main factors for my decision:

1. Jaina is hot. (I was visualizing the fight.)

2. PG put up an argument, and it made me laugh.

Now stop rooting for the ****ing Heat.

Winner: Jaina Solo

Aaaand Kenobi (prep) that one makes me feel better

 

C'mon, Gethzerion and Talzin together is insane. They're the two most powerful Nightsisters. It doesn't matter if Luke wasn't at full power when Gethzerion nearly killed him, he would've been stronger than Dark Woman and Ki-Adi-Mundi. And it doesn't matter if Talzin's fight with Windu was short, since they still fought and it was a stalemate, plus you could tell that they could've gone on for longer. What feats does Dark Woman and Ki-Adi have that're that much more impressive? We saw Ki-Adi fighting Grievous for a little while, but was about to be defeated before the troops arrived. Dark Woman and Ki-Adi may have good fighting skills, but Gethzerion and Talzin have much better Force powers, such as their Force lightning, which has been shown to be extremely powerful.

 

Exile and the Night sisters, but otherwise agree with KK. Especially about PG and his NBA rooting interests

 

Where is Chevy Chase when you need him?

 

i kinda think all of the furio/darkeagle ones are pretty well set. i can't see voting for arca against those two, and good as revan is we all know he isn't beating caedus.

 

I must be way out of the loop, I don't know about 80% of hte Jedi/sith in this battle..

 

Doesn't mean we can't use them.

 

This. I hope we do still use all these characters, because it seems like such a waste to just forget about them.

 

Except for Thon. We can forget about him.

 

I'm hoping they keep Thon, and he's in VII.

 

With a clean slate now they could make him the best since Yoda. You never know.

But I doubt it.

Old Acre-- He's got experience against crazy amounts of opponents at the same time and an ability to use Battle Meditation for his own gain-- plus two Vaapad users going at it together could get in each other's way, especially with against a focused Arca.

agree with ken save for arca. i just don't think he's got anywhere near enough to take the two of them.

Bleh. Was really hoping Sidious would land on a forfeit. It's been some time since I've read the Rebel Dream/Rebel Stand duology. Nyax was the one with lots of sabers right? I think my trump is more skilled overall, smarter and can work together to defeat him.
