Before LotF, Gavin, after, Jaina so agree with Sey.

 

Seems to me like Gavin has far more experience than Jaina.....like he was already a skilled pilot before she was even born. Yeah she is good, and she has the Force....but I have a hard time wrapping my head around her beating Gavin more than 1/3 of the time.

 

D1 I'm willing to let you try to change my mind but you're going to have to do a good job. Also if Inty rings in and says Jaina then you're sunk unless adam says he'll change his mind too.

I just think that Jaina has actually earned her excellent pilot status now and on top of that she's got the force.

So:

Gavin has more experience
Jaina has more skill
Jaina has the force

I just don't think that the experience this time is going to overwhelm her skill and force ability because Jaina has had a growing number of fighter battle experience in her short number of years.

Nah, go ahead with the match Sey....I don't have the time or the vast wealth of knowledge (having skipped LotF) needed to put down a argument worthy of this match.

Next fight is Lara Notsil vs Jagged Fel....looks like we are going to teams.

So yes, the second match is going to teams. I'm going to need an argument for it so start prepping one!

 

Will do. Initial thoughts though...

Jaina >= Gavin (though I still feel that her only edge is the Force, skill and experience IMHO should go to Gavin)
Jagged < Maarek
Tesar << Wes
Zekk < Biggs
Anakin > Edor
Lowbacca = Jek (dude is seriously underrated, in just 40 hours of flight he became a triple ace. Considered by Wedge to be one of the best pilots he ever flew with, and Wes obviously had a high opinion of him as well)
Hara's << Lara Notsil and Elassar Targon (Notsil definately carries the weight between these two, but with a good distraction I think she could take the Hara's)

Leadership, goes to Gavin/Wes/Edor .... with Maarek as support. He definately won't have an issue working with this group, may not be the most cohesive in regards to having worked together before...but he can use the force to help him there.

Skill, while good a lot of Ho Hum relys on a Force bump to boost themselves...natural skill from top to bottom (excluding Targon) helps out my team. I think the gap gets bigger as we go down the list.

Force, totally goes to Ho Hum.

Cohesion: The only thing that really seems to push this to Ho Hum is the Jedi ability of Battle Meditation. Cohesion on both teams is very solid IMO.

Sum it up: My top 3 is better, no doubt about it. The middle is kind of a push, and my bottom 2 is clearly better.

 

while i disagree with lara and targon being able to beat my bottom two, i'm just going to concede. i'm not going to win this, since its pretty much the same situation as last time i went to teams. i can't touch his top three, have no one who can take out maarek, so whatever.

Yeah, depending on your POV, those are either two really great draws or two really horrible draws. Agreed on the results.

 

I will take it as a great draw for me, Luke being wasted on the worst 2 characters I have is a win for me.
