So, you would have last pick, but you would go back to your original spot for the next round?

Currently reading through various drafts...but my pilots were ignored there...(which probably means they're not terribly well-thought of, but hey, I'm a newb, I can have a sucky team of midlevel Rogues if I want!)

 

Yes. Hypothetically Jello doesn't pick and is bumped. He gets the last pick of the first round, but he retains his draft spot so he picks second in round 2, 7th in round 3, etc.

 

Okay, just checking.

I hope nobody gets bumped, I'm just worried, since I've never done this before.

Welp, if you want to go with the defector, I guess I'll have to read up and see how my second first pick will fare...

 

Okay, so, if I can't have Tycho (weeps madly), then I'd like Han Solo, followed by Kyp Durron.

Sey, stats on the first seven picks? Are they really always the same? Actually, I don't think so - Gavin was first pick of a winning team a few years ago.

 

And if we were playing with 12 GMs instead of 8, there would be a good chance he'd be the first pick on a strong team this year too.

what i mean by that is the first seven picks in a draft (which normally has twelve teams in it) are pretty much ALWAYS some order of luke, vader, wedge, soontir, anakin, jaina, tycho. after that it becomes more up in the air. han is usually in the first round, for instance, but not typically in that first seven.

 

Well, why wouldn't it be - I mean, other than the fact that they are generally winners (though I'd love to see them go head to head), they're pretty awesome characters!

when was the last time i haven't taken him when he's been available at about this spot (or in the next five or so for that matter)? i've traded for him pretty frequently too.

 

I don't really pay that much attention to know when you normally take him.

 

lemme put it this way, it's been i think four drafts since the last time i didn't have him.
