    well, i thought that one was reasonably straightforward since kenobi beat kasan, who has historically be better than face without much question. but that's just me, i guess.

    aren't you one of the two people that should be arguing this match?

    out of curiosity, though, what makes face even being in consideration with this one? sure, he's been underrated, but he's also never really been considered anywhere near obi-wan's level? suppose i'm just wondering what's changed, precisely?

    I don't think I'll be putting anything up on this one, so don't wait on me

    Well, no arguments, so Kenobi it is. Otherwise agree with Horsey.

    I'm disappointed. I think Mercy Kill upped Face's experience to be arguably better than he has so far been in the draft. Oh well.

    Agree with Jello on Kenobi.

    I actually won a round, amazing.

    On that note, as of next Friday I won't be around to argue for my team until early July, so don't ask for any arguments, you won't get any ;)

    pretty sure i take skill in the top three, and should also take a couple of others at first glance. and i have better cohesion i'm pretty sure. i'll look at this more closely, but that's my initial thoughts just now looking at the teams.

    Wedge = Luke
    Pash = Gavin
    Keyan = Hobbie
    Jake = Horton
    Ace > Kasan
    Anj = Jhoram
    Nrin > Kell
    Octa > Tyria

    We're basically a wash, but I have a slight edge in the backend.

    The Not So Avenging Avengers (4) vs. Jedi Starfighter Corps

    I am not really going to argue my match. Though I do think that Anakin/Stele are a far better top 2 (possibly top 4 to boot), and the cohesion on my team is top rate....as well as having some great meld going on.
    Go for it judges, don't expect anything more than this from me. [face_peace]

    Honestly these teams are really evenly matched.

    I like Wedge more than Luke so I'm picking 266 Squadron.

    I think Kyp is a weak #2 and even though I think the bottom half of that team is stronger, I don't think it makes up for the power hungriness of the top 4 on the other team. So in the second teams match I'm going with Jedi Starfighter Corps.

    Before the next round starts, does anyone feel like stepping up to replace our absent judge?

    266 takes it pretty well I'd say -- a general experience edge in my observation. Less sure about the second match, Avengers have excellent cohesion while I think Jedi Corps has the edge down the line -- especially with the top pilots.

    So yes, agree with Horsey.
