Kenobi (I think since they are really close the Jedi part gives him the edge to take out Ace)

    Sorry for the delay.

While I usually agree with the "Jedi first, pilot second" as a knock on Jedi pilots, I think Obi-wan sees enough flying action to the point where he's not as hampered by this as others. He's a "phenomenal pilot" (ROTS) and spends most of the Clone Wars working with Anakin, constantly in action. Anakin is a huge fan of flying his starfighter around in battles and Kenobi is usually right along side him. Ace, while really good, doesn't have enough to push him over here, imo. Kenobi has enough experience, consistent flying, and Force capabilities to take Ace.

As much as I'm loathe to add further delay... I'm going to have to disagree and go with Ace in light of his intensive and focused experience. Kenobi's good but I have to go with the secular ones on this.

I have a much greater appreciation for video game pilots (and the overwhelming odds they've overcome) than most - one day, Rhys Dallows, one day - and so I cast my deciding vote in favor of Ace Azzazzazzameen.

I would personally vote for Bey as well, but take that with a grain of salt because I don't know what I am talking about in an SFD.

Any chance we are going to see those arguments on Crespin vs Ferrell soon?

Like you've always been accurate at saying when you're going to post an argument ;)

    Again, sorry for the delays

Alright, Crespin: Spent a year or so flying TIE fighters for the Empire, a feat which (based on statements previously by Jello, probably via the Imperial Sourcebook or somesuch) is accomplished by only a rather small percentage of a TIE pilots. After siding with the Alliance, he rose to the rank of General as a starfighter pilot (which is weird considering that that's all Wedge wanted to do the whole Wraith series, but couldn't apparently until Ackbar allowed him). He flew at Ession, which was essentially 2 squadrons of starfighters against a Star Destroy + TIEs. He continued through the Zsinj campaign during which, while not outright stated, it was implied that all of Solo's forces saw action often against Zsinj's forces. This culminated in the Battle of Selaggis, a fight he made it through intact while pilots like Hobbie and Asyr were downed.

Farrell: Here's the thing- we don't really have that much on Farrell. We know that he was a flight instructor, flying on training missions. We know he flew at Yavin (specific details are scarce) and Endor (we have a bit more details of his actions here). Other than those instances though, he doesn't have much to his name.

Neither pilot has a very solid amount of shown piloting experience to their names- Farrell has Yavin and Endor, whereas Crespin has Ession and Selaggis along with more experiences accredited to him. It's a case of 2 or so solid performances vs 2 or so decent performces + more implied experience. Crespin's advantage in experience should be enough to push him past Farrell here.

I can't believe Trimaj had to audacity to post the above. You only need to go back 1 page to find places where you claim you're going to argue and then 4 days later I judge because I'm tired of waiting. Lay off DarkEagle, dude.
