The 2006 JEDI DRAFT!!!

It?s time for the fourth installment of the 2005 Jedi Draft!

We all know the rules, but here they are again in case you?re wondering.


? VIP / Colors / Titles: Per the VIP rules and guidelines outlined here, the ONLY person able to get colors / VIP status / a title from the Draft will be the winner. That will last a period of one week. Unfortunately, the Commish / Leaders / Judges will not be allowed VIP status or even a title. You are encouraged to put this information in your sig. The winner will also get to use the VIP Only "Jedi Draft Winner" icon for the week.
? Only one Draft thread at a time. Because these will now be official forum games, the forum mods will allow one Draft thread at a time. This does not appear to be an immediate problem as the Starfighter Draft is on a bit of an hiatus. If and when the SFD returns to activity, we can consider having two at a time if the pace of the SFD becomes a problem.
? There will be a two week gap between Drafts. After two weeks the new thread can be started for any new planning that needs to happen for the next draft. This can of course change at tghe discretion of the forum mods.
? Forum Mods retain the right to pull the Commish should he/she be behaving in an unacceptable manner. This is not something that would be done lightly. Only worst case scenario here.
? Authority to prevent anyone from playing one or more editions of the draft is left solely to the discretion of the forum mods.
? Mods can and will do a sock check on all GMs and judges, especially when requested by the Commish.
? Playing the game in any fashion while banned is expressly forbidden. Anyone found doing so will be removed from the duration of the game. Further punishment is at the discretion of the forum mods.
? Socializing and chatting off topic is allowed in moderation, provided it conforms to all the rules of the forum. (No politics, discussing films and not fans, no flaming/spamming/trolling, etc...)

This time we will run one conference with a total of 12 teams. I will appoint 3 judges, but I will act as overlord of the thread if the need arises.

Remember, the mods are watching, so for crap?s sake, be on your best behavior!

I really wasn'y planning on playing, but hey, why not? I still want to win one of these things. Especially an "official" draft here in this forum.

Only 12 GMs, eh? Seems like a real step backwards for the SWC draft if you ask me. I know 32 was way too many, but it seems like we should be able to support at least 16 with no trouble. Meh.
