Ok, People, now is the time for drafting to begin!

For the first round, each applicant will have 24 hours to pick a character. From Round 2 onward, we will only have 12 hours to make our pick. Once a pick is made, and the list updated BY MYSELF OR A JUDGE (ONLY THOSE PEOPLE MAY UPDATE THE ENTIRE LIST-but if you pick a character, you should update that ROUND-it is NOT official until a judge or myself updates the ENTIRE thing), the next GM will be on the clock.

If you miss your turn more than once, you will be replaced as a GM for this game.

If you plan on being offline for an extended period of time, please PM me a list of 6 jedi/sith who you would want to pick. I will pick the highest one on your list available for you if you are not online. Also include the judges in these lists as they will be backing me up on this.

ON WITH THE DRAFT!

 

I will be on at five board time to make my selection, and unveil my team name and colours. Sorry, but I am in school untill then. Are we allowed to trade spots?

 

I'm glad you brought that up.

Any and all trades must be sent to myself and the judges for perusal. Both parties involved need to PM us and tell us of the PROPOSED trade. No trade will be official until I MYSELF post it.

You may trade players and draft picks, but rest assured that all trades that are unfair (Luke for Vrook) will NOT be allowed. Parity is essential.

Now, you can always trade multiple pix for players, but every team can have no more than 6 jedi/sith to start the game. At the end of all 6 rounds, there will be a short free agent period where you may pick up a player on the list who did not get drafted. When you do that, you must drop one of your players to get your number of jedi/sith down to the required 6.

Remember, ALL trades must go through me!

Yeah, I think I've got kind of an idea.

 

Yoda was a bad pick, but not awful.

Nomi was a horrendous pick.

It would be great if you could enlighten me as to why my pick sucked...

 

You'll find out when you see some other picks, and the reactions to them.

After all, it wouldn't be fair to start pointing out things like "I can't believe you didn't draft Jocasta Nu?!?!?!?!", would it?

 

Well it would, and I would apprecite it actually if you guys did that, that is how a "n00b" learns, and I would love it if you gave me more feedback then "yoda sucks." I must admit, my knowledge of Pre-NJO Jedi is a little shaky, and I would love the oppurtunity to bring it up to snuff.

 

hey don't worry, my first draft when I was a newb I picked Saesee Tiin, who is now barely a 5th rounder, if that.

 

my advice to n00bs, if you don't wanna be n00bs, is to read the old drafts.

And, Yoda is a fine pick. Not the best pick you could have made, but not horrible, and Yoda-lead teams can win the draft

 

I'll let you know, PRENN, when I do first round breakdowns.
