The 2006 JEDI DRAFT!!!

Every other replacement I found was banned or went incognito. The SFD judges are as time constrained as these ones and if I can say so myself(being one), not really all that great about all the things that go along with judging. Most of the others who would be available and qualified are GMing. With the things on my plate IRL there's no way in hell I should have been doing anything in this draft except spectating, but I made the damn effort. Honestly, Shadow, you can stamp your feet all you like, but this draft was doomed from the start and there's not much that I or any other one of the millions of people who tried governing this draft could have done about it. The draft was stale and died because there wasn't the interest level in it that there used to be, and every second we kick this dead horse is a second we could be using kick starting a new effort to get interest back in this draft. I understand the frustration of being in a leading team and having to quit, but its the lesser of two evils right now. I can't think of one good reason(for everybody) to continue this draft, and I can think of several not to. Why shouldn't we go back to the drawingboard and get a better blueprint for this thing? Am I the only one who would rather wait for a good draft than get a piss poor draft now?

 

Stamping my feet would imply that I'm actually angry about this.

It really doesn't matter. Whatever's whatever. I was just trying to make one last attempt at salvaging this thing (and my interest in it as well). We seemed to have a few GM respond once you said you were done with this, and most of them seemed to be our playoff GMs.

Meh.

 

i think "meh" is a fine descriptive word for this draft.
on a lighter note, i just saved a bunch of money on videogames by buying shadow of the colossus.

 

Hehe, that's the idea. If you're two years behind on all the games that come out, you save 60% throuhgout. The key is waiting those two years to get behind.

Shut it down, take a couple week break, and start it up again with a dedicated Commish and judges who are online consistently.


(Nothing against you Suzuki, you were here consistently.)


Interest is now down to a small handful of GMs and I just don't see much to gain by continuing. Not to mention that the judge problem is seemingly impossible to fix with most viable judges being in GM slots.


As much as I hate to say it... Stick a fork in this draft, because it's done.

I agree we should restart over with a dedicated commish and judges.

As far as ultimate winners go, it would probably come down to Shurron vs. Integral.

I'd say Shurron had the better chance of winning by the numbers, but Integral would edge it in teams. Mostly due to force-lightning. *eyes Nyax and Vader*

Yup we'd start the whole thing over after a while. I wanna first see what Suzuki says for sure.
