Jaden should win handily though. Nyax is a brute at the best of times, lacks a power boost here, and Jaden has prep+some toys. I don't see him losing.

Poof/Yaddle vs. Kas'im/Kaan anyone? I'm only like 90-some% joking.

 

I was hoping that trump would hit someone better. Either of them are enough to get the win. Together it's overkill.

Jaina is also more than enough for that pair.

I'd love to argue this Ken, but really? Considering the previous years of results in this draft and the fact that I took Vader with the tenth pick and IMHO Yoda is Fourth best warrior in the draft, It's an uphill battle.

Vader is a beast both suited and unsuited. Unsuited he had all the potential in the galaxy to be the very definition of the perfect warrior but he gets cocky and loses to Obi-Wan. Potential gone. So now we have suited Vader that decimated countless Jedi Knights and masters, had above average strength because of his motorized limbs. I love Vader but I concede this because Yoda has the feats, the Force power advantage and speed. Enjoy this pic at least because Yoda will never look this cool.

 

lol I was gonna be open to some "He's on Naboo and remembers Padme and goes nuts" or "He's on Naboo and hops in an N1 and TRIES SPINNING CAUSE THAT'S A GOOD TRICK" but in that case...

Talzin/Maul-- Ouch. Ya know I love me some old Acre, and with prep he could pull some extra wily-ness out of the bag. But Maul is not gonna let up at all, and Talzin is one of those players who isn't an individual powerhouse but can absolutely be a pest throwing sorcery in support.

Dooks-- The Count's just been around too many blocks, his ability to seamlessly transition between the bladework of Kenobi and raw power of Skywalker in AotC-- and THEN facing Yoda-- standing as evidence that he can take whatev Zannah throws at him. I have him at the bottom tier of the elites...but Zannah not quite in that tier.
Kaan/Kas'im-- But one of them probably dies. Maybe from laughter.

Mother Talzin/Darth Maul vs. Arca Jeth (prep)- Arca would give them some fits but he would be overwhelmed before too long.
Darth Vader vs. Yoda- I always thought Vader got a bit of a bum rap because of the suit but it is what it is so... Just about everyone knows I think only about eight to ten people on the board even have a chance of defeating Vader. Unfortunately for him our little green friend is one of them.

Cade wins. Nihl and Talon are not good enough to beat him, even with the familiarity. Ganner clearly wins through forfeit.

Nat loses badly, no matter how you slice that.

The top one though...hmm...I'm honestly not sure off the top of my head. If it were just Krayt, I would say Ulic in a heartbeat. And Stryfe...kinda sucks. But, it is another blade. That requires some thought.

I think Kol is being under appreciated, too. The best thing Leia has going for her - heredity - Kol also has.

I'm thinking Savage had a chance there too. I just figured that with COH already starting it off badly for Savage. Well I'll argue it then.
Savage even before his transformation was amazing at hand to hand combat as we saw when he fought Ventress. His strength was pretty impressive as he cracked stone with punches. After his transformation he becomes a beast with Force powers. We know he's trained by Darth Tyranus and Opress fought him and Ventress together in the early stages of his career. In that fight he disarmed Tyranus and Force choked and launched both he and Ventress with a blast of the Force. We know he kills Adi Gallia, Jedi Master Halsey and his Padawan. He fights off Obi-Wan and Anakin together and holds his own against Obi-Wan one on one. He's only killed by Darth Sidious, but even in that fight he lasted longer than most against the DLotS. Kinetically he is powerful as well. For example, when we see him Force push a Star Fighter and he breaks out of a cell of Mandalorian Iron.

K'Kruhk could not beat Ventress and Savage made her squirm even though she was once with Obi-Wan and once with Tyranus. His feats are standing toe to toe with her, Quinlan Vos and Grievous and surviving the encounters. Those are all mid level players. I'd put Savage above all of them considering who he's survived and killed. Tra Saa seems like fodder to me now that I look into her. She has supporting powers and I don't know how much she knows Kr'Kruhk for that to be an effective trump. My best bet here is that Savage has good results against better trumps and neither of these opponents have feats that are close to Savage's. I thought it would be close, it is. but Savage has a chance. Apologies for not seeing this through more.

 

Mikaboshi any counterpoint there? Gonna try to have judgments up tomorrow.

Also heels1785, with a play for the bottom 4, does that mean 2 rounds and one winner emerges-- so a total of 7 teams, with #1 overall seed getting a bye? Or 2 winners who face #1 and #2 overall seeds? Just bored and trying to understand haha.

 

Ended up busier than anticipated. I'll try for tomorrow...failing that, feel free to judge.

 

I wouldn't really expect much from me these days, I enjoy the draft but for the most part don't really want to argue stuff any more.
