Sadly, still much more. The good news, we have a laundry room! We still do not have the kitchen. Once that is done, we continue with the flooring repairs and installtion and painting in the other rooms. To be frank, we are about a little less then halfway... When we are more then half, I will do a cart wheel around the room!

Oh, and by the way... today, yet another day, at 2:19 PM workman still have not shown....

Hangs a couple of Feng Shui Flutes...opps.. adjusts the angles...There better. Runs to front of thread, Makes sure everything is good. Takes out the dead bush that has been blocking the Chi.

*bows* it's all your training, Master. I have become adept in the ways of irreverence.

 

So..gripe of the afternoon. I was very productive and went out and spent a lot of money finding things I needed. One of these needed items was a pair of PVC end caps. I get them home and into the house and out of the plastic bag (I know I got them that far cuz my roommate says she saw them too) and now....poof..gone. We've turned the house upside down twice and they are nowhere to be found. Sooooo frustrating! Ok, so they only cost about .50 each...but still...it's the principle. And I know as soon as I buy more I will find the others.

One of my very best friends, whom I've known since high school, was mugged and beaten and kicked in the head, along with his lover, outside THEIR OWN APARTMENT on the weekend. They're in pain, they're concussed, they're traumatized, they've been robbed, and I WANT TO KILL SOMEONE.

I am SO ANGRY.

And worried about them.
