Hello everyone here is the new and improved Southern Nevada Jedi Draft!!! IF you are new to the draft you can read through the old draft 1st Southern Nevada Jedi Draft and read through the whole game, from start to finish. The TOS will be obeyed her. The Commissioner reserves the right to ask a mod aka BrotherHalo to remove the offending party. This draft I am also expanding a little. There will be twelve GM?s instead of the normal eight. As you all well know the drafts in here are slower than the SWC. This is to be expected with this draft as well. The members of SD-1138 will be given priority in the initial sign up phase. They will have 72 hours to join before the other members of the Jedi Council Community are welcomed. Once we have established the participants, each GM will then need to pick there teams. They will have 48 hours to make their selection, any longer and they are moved to the end of the round and then possibly removed. So I think that about covers it all. Here are the rules in a nutshell?

This game goes through a series of stages:

    Stage 1: Sign Ups
Fifteen spots must be filled; three Judges and twelve GMs. Once sign ups are complete, the Commissioner randomly creates the draft order, and we move on to Stage 2.

    Stage 2: Drafting
The twelve GMs, in order, draft a Jedi to their team until each GM has one Jedi. Then the order is reversed, and the GM who picked last gets to pick first in the second round of drafting. This continues until each GM has a team of six Jedi. The remaining unpicked Jedi are free agents, and can be traded for until the Semi-Finals. During drafting, GMs may trade Jedi or Draft positions via PMs to each other and then BOTH PMing THE COMMISSIONER before the trade can be official. Once there are twelve teams of six, we move on to Stage 3.

    Stage 3: Division Battles
The Commissioner randomly separates the eight teams into 2 four-team divisions: Tatooine and Dagobah. Once the divisions have been announced, the Commissioner will assign which teams will battle each other, and ask for numbers to be sent in. All of the GMs will assign each of their Jedi with a number between 1-6.

For example, lets take two hypothetical teams:

    Team #1
    Kyp Durron
    Corran Horn
    Mara Jade Skywalker
    Kyle Katarn
    Ganner Rhysode
    Saba Sabatyne

    and

    Team #2
    Darth Vader
    Ulic Qel-Droma
    Naga Sadow
    Marka Ragnos
    Darth Bandon
    Shira Brie

All the GMs would assign the numbers 1-6 to their teams and PM them to the Commish. So the numbers might end up like this:

    Team #1
    5. Kyp Durron
    2. Corran Horn
    1. Mara Jade Skywalker
    6. Kyle Katarn
    3. Ganner Rhysode
    4. Saba Sabatyne

    and

    Team #2
    1. Darth Vader
    4. Ulic Qel-Droma
    6. Naga Sadow
    5. Marka Ragnos
    2. Darth Bandon
    3. Shira Brie

Once all twelve GMs have PMed their numbers to the Commish, he calls numbers at random, and we have our battles. So, for example, let's say the first number called is 2. That would mean that in the above hypothetical battle Corran Horn would battle Darth Bandon.

Here's where the judges come in. The three judges each post who they think would win in this lightsaber/force battle, and give explanations as to why they feel that way. If one judge thinks Corran Horn would win, and one thinks Darth Bandon would, it then becomes nessessary for the third judge to speak up. Once there is a winner for each battle, the Commish calls another number, and this continues until all the battles have been done.

In the case of a 3 win/3 loss tie, those teams now participate in a Team Battle. The three judges now must decide who would win in a battle between all six Jedi from one team versus all six Jedi from another team.

Each team in the division will battle each other, for a total of five battles a piece. Once all five battles are decided, the top two teams from each division move on to the n

No this draft has nothing to do with the last draft or the draft before it. We are going to start on a new footing with this draft.

ok here's my question....how can you put people from the video games in the draft? for instance....how can you put jaden korr in the draft....that's the character you are in jedi academy....so jaden could be any of like six different species, male or female, light or dark, and have many different combinations of force abilities....i think if you're going to have characters from games in the draft they have to not have so many different possible variables. just my opinion though.
