The Tartan Day Parade in NYC gave me an excuse to wear my tartan wear.


So many years of dance... I can't help but pose when there's a camera.

I had to Google to figure out what tartan is. My mind went to Tatars, as they are alternatively also called Tartars, and I thought maybe they can be called Tartan as well. My next thought was "are there that many Tatars in NY to host a parade"?

I can see how that would be confusing! I guess I should have made reference that it is the celebration of Scottish heritage.

A friend of mine is traveling across the country and she sent me a photo of herself. I noticed in the photo that she has exactly the same t-shirt as me, so I sent this photo back playfully mocking her telling her I want my t-shirt back:
