Wow, I really hope some small miracle happens and the plane shows up alright.
Hearing now it crashed off the coast of Vietnam
Any details on survivors? Boats close enough to save anyone if possible?
SO sad, I love to fly but that is scary stuff.
yeah sorry that was my bad
According to BBC News it is still 'missing'. No wreckage or other sign of it has been found yet.
hold on one sec... okay how about now? see anything?
It's all Desmond's fault.
Indicentally, though horrified since I'm on a trans-pac this evening, this would be the first fatalities ever from a crash involving this type of aircraft. The Asiana flight crashing at SFO was a similar kind of plane, but the fatalities occurred because of an incorrect evacuation by two passengers and occurred on the ground.
I'm really, really hoping it's something else though for a variety of reasons...
NBC is reporting that they found oil slicks consistant with a plane crashing into the ocean.
One of those times I think holy ****!
Are soap-opera-esque resurrections, flashbacks and other weird **** included?

Some additional information from Flyer Talk:
Malaysia to investigate possible breach of security in boarding
According to local news Malaymail Online, after media reported that two passengers used stolen passports boarding the flight MH370, Malaysian Transport Vice Minister Datuk Aziz Kaprawi states that Malaysia will investigate whether there is breach of regulations when the flight was boarded in KUL. However, he believes the airport security had been sufficient. In the meantime, Malaysian Aviation directors stated in a news conference that there is no obvious suspicions after reviewing the airport CCTV footage. But Malaysian Prime Minister said that it is too early to come to a conclusion, other ministers did not rule out the possibilities of terrorist attack.
Did they found yet the plane?
So, either terrorism or the 777's first real failure.... I'm not sure which I'd rather it be.
I saw the news break last night. Scary scary stuff.
Or the birds.
Those international flights. You never know.
No pointing this incident, but doing an international flight crossing continents is a little scary when you know that the ocean is down there while you are on the air.
I hope that this time, KTVU Channel 2 News gets their act together before reporting casualties.
Oh god I remember that. So stupid and hilarious.
