Mmm...if you can manage it, get a boat out to the Farallon Islands. Huge waves and sharks, you'll feel right at home
have fun on the west coast. I'm heading out to LA in a few weeks. Flying to LA almost always makes me wish I could go to San Francisco or San Diego instead.
I haven't really been out of the airport in over two decades. Have landed in your fair country and now just awaiting my connecting flight to San Fran. I now realise why the US economy is slow, all of the redundant security screening people employed in airports. My new passport looks worn out after 30 minutes clearing US border security. .I must have presented that sucker 6 times. Must cost the taxpayers billions.
My wife has been cleared for U.S. citizenship. Her swearing in ceremony will occur between 1 and 3 months from now, notification pending. One of the things her interviewer did was check her passport to see whether all the stamps matched the entry and exit dates she listed out in her application.
One of the 6 questions she answered correctly to prove her qualification for citizenship was "what ocean lies on the western coast of the United States."
We'll be having a party at our place between 1 and 3 months from now to celebrate. All Senate members are invited.
Also, it's officially in the record now that my wife has never been involved in prostitution or the drug trade.
A two-month party? Count me in!
Exile On Main Street times revive.
And we'll change your wive's official records while we're at it.
My Homer is not a communist. He may be a liar, a pig, an idiot, a communist, but he is *not* a porn star!
Farewell San Francisco, it's been great knowing you.
Hi everyone, just wanted to introduce myself here. I've only recently started to care deeply about politics and global issues and am looking to gain more perspective. I have my own political beliefs but as of right now they only feel superficial, so hopefully being here and getting perspective will help me learn more.
I didn't know we had a forum section like this. Looking forward to reading up on what everyone's got to say.
Call of Duty: Ghosts releases today! Looks like a very long night!
Arma 3, dude. call of duty is for 12-year olds screaming at their moms.
Tell me about it! I never use a mic. Those kids drive me nuts! What is Arma?
arma is a super-serious FPS: if call of duty is trying to be an 80s action movie, arma is trying to be a real war.For example-the game maps are real places that are created to scale; there's no "twenty minutes to the other side of the map" stuff going on.
It's a PC game!
Nothing wrong with that. PC games have a much longer shelf life.
LOL. We are very different, you and I!
Oh J-Rod. Console games and CoD? They will make you stupider!
PC gaming is where it's at. Mouse aiming! Better graphics! Average age >12!
I am married, have sex regularly and don't live in my mom's basement. I don't have time for PC games.
Hah! Both Mr Geldar and I play Simcity and The Old Republic together.
There's a kick starter for a Jane Austen MMO I'm planning on pledging for to get access.
