On Facebook, someone had sent me an invite to Candy Crush Saga with an extra life to spend in the game. But the message read "I have given you a life. Please give me one back", which I found hilarious.

No band practice today. It's either on a Tuesday or Monday. Flips every week. I wish that I'd remembered it's actually tomorrow. Now I have nothing to do.

So I was playing Backgammon online on facebook a few minutes ago. I was playing a game where I had a lot of luck and my opponent was honestly playing better than me tactically, but luck was just on my side. So as I am a few turns from winning, this exchange occurred between me and my anonymous opponent:

Him: I play better than you.
Me: Ok.
Him: **** you.
Me: Ok.
Him: Just luck.
Me: Ok.
Him: Let's play again!
Me: Ok.

"The opponent has disconnected."

 

Well, my son got his first acceptance letter from a university today. Looks like he's actually going to college.

 

Which school?

 

Northwestern University here in Chicago (Evanston).
