We have a lounge, a bar, a pool, an arcade, a theatre, a concert hall, and of course an Xbox to play games on!!! So come on in and grab a drink. Enjoy your stay here!!!!!

Good. What are they showing? Last night it was supposed to be "Hearts of the World" as the silent picture again. I knew it wouldn't be, of course, because the Canadian stations don't have the rights. So they showed "Tell It To the Marines" with Lon Chaney instead. It was fantastic and Chaney excellent.

 

Morning. And I must say it's so nice to have the day off. Just stopping by for a drink before I go out in the sun. Nice place Zaz.

Was I the only one who worked today? I'm a lifeguard for the YMCA here in VT. Then I had to pay my parking ticket.

 

Sorry, Zaz, the movie right now is "Carrie". In theatre 2 we have "Black Widow".

 

It isn't a holiday in Canada. We had ours last Monday.

 

It was Victoria day right?

 

Yup. Victoria's Birthday. Since she was Queen 61 years, we got used to a nice May long weekend with fireworks. When she died, nobody wanted to give the sucker up. So we still celebrate it, even though she's been dead 105 years. Go figure.

Zaz, I never knew Canada celebrated Victoria day. How strange. That'd be like celebrating Empire Day still or something. What's the politics of Canada like, anyway? Do you guys want to become a republic?

 

No. For obvious reasons (ie. what lies along ye southern border). I know this is a big deal in Australia, however.
