I love the purple, though the Cloud City colors were also good.

Not me. Can't stand reality television.

 

Reality TV has gone to far, but this is one of the original realty shows, plus there's nothing else on.

I like this purple one too.

When I checked back into the Amph before signing I and saw a new banner is sreamed "HOLY ****, The NEW ****** BANNER IS UP". the best part is that I was in public.

People are hitting the beach.

 

Not me. I haven't been to the beach in nearly a decade. I don't like all the crowds and I don't like the sun exposure. Plus I'm scared of fish. And the sand, it... gets everywhere.

I need help.

 

Scared of fish? You've seen "Jaws", no doubt.

 

The funny thing is, I'm not scared of sharks (or rays), just regular fish. So if I go to an aquarium and see a Great White, I'm fine. But if I go to a pet shop and see a goldfish, I have a panic attack.

 

Hmm... we went to the aquarium museum in Chicago when we were on our band trip back in April... twas much interesting.

Hi all! I'm fairly new to the Amphitheatre, so I thought I'd just drop a friendly note in the social thread.

Well...since I suffer myself from acute arachnophobia, I have nothing to say to your fishophobia (sorry, the Latin escapes me for the moment...piscophobia?)

Well I'm just feeling depressed tonight so I better not try to be funny.

My phobia is worms and caterpillars. When I was a kid I had this nightmare about worms that still gives me the creeps. And Caterpillers I can't get near because we had this huge gypsy moth infestation like a plague from the bible. Literally. They ate almost every tree on teh mountain near my moms home and there were millions of them. This was a long time ago but I can't forget it. eeeeeeeeeeeuck!

 

My phobia is watching NHL on OLN. But seriously...the usual I'm scared of Spiders and insects.

The Shedd Aquarium is a pretty cool place. I have a friend who has volunteered there for nearly 3 years. he's able to get free passes for me and my friends whenever we want and depending who is working there he is sometimes able to take us behind the scenes where they feed and take care of the animals

 

Yeah, I sort of knew about that. But a nurse shark makes for a less potent analogy.

My phobias are... spiders (I can stand any other type of bugs, but I hate spiders -- severely) and flying balls.

Yes, flying balls. I've had way too many nasty experiences with flying balls.

 

Don't mind snakes. Soccer causes instant narcolepsy.

 

I have a fear of Rattlesnakes but no other snakes oddly enough. I was a t a nature park and they brought out a defanged rattler,you can take his weapon away but the fight is still in him.

 

Canucks had their pockets picked.

 

Spiders are horrid. I am absolutely petrified of them. They are my only real phobia.

 

Heh, I saw this list of phobias that you all might like. I'll post it tonight.

 

Australia has such a wide array of spiders, too, don't they? From extremely poisonous to ultra poisonous.

 

Actually, we had an infestation of white tails recently, which are quite poisonous, but I'm not scared of them. They are small, and don't have the scary body shape. What I am scared of are huntsmans, who can do no worse than crawl on me. Google image search if you want to know what I mean.
