Well we need 4 more people then, unless 8 team leagues can work (which I can imagine would be super stacked.)

With that many participants we might be able to organise some colour awards and whatnot.

Okay let's see how many more teams we can get. Maybe some people would like to run a team in each league if we're short a couple.

Looking to start the draft on Tuesday, August 16. The day after the last preseason game in week 1. Give everyone a chance to see the teams play. We will conclude the draft on or around Sept 1. Giving us 2 solid weeks of drafting.

The free agency free for all will happen on Sept 2. Giving everyone about a week to set your rosters. We will confirm dates as we near the times. Draft orders will be announced once we have a set league(s).

Is two weeks gonna be enough?
If just a couple people happen to take the full time that could really slow us down.
Last year I think we only got through about 8 rds in 3 or 4 weeks and then it was a mad dash to fill the rosters.

I'm wondering if we need to wait until after the first preseason game (at least for rds 1-3).
Maybe start the draft on Aug 9??? Or drop the limit to 12 hrs from the start???
Just some thoughts.

 

I am good with whatever dates we pick, and I promise I will likely not end up using the full time. I usually do a lot of mock drafts so I have pretty good idea of who would still be available and who I would want.

I also can play in the other league if we need another person. Just let me know.

Yes it would. No live draft.

Well maybe we will start at some point next week. First thing is to get our league set.

 

While I'd be fine with a live draft, if coordinated properly, I've learned the last few years it's a lot more convenient for the majority of the players here to do it this way.

Also, mark me down for the second team as well, should the team require more players. Honestly, I think it'd be bet to have two teams of 12, or 14 players, if at all possible.

I'd also think, if doable, it'd be best to start out at 12 hours for draft picks. Maybe cutting it to 10 hours, later on, if needed.

 

You will not be getting a second team Juli. You're too unreliable. Last season you disappeared and in the pick em u dropped out when you missed a couple weeks.

Nope, couldn't do that night, work second shift, so most evenings would be tough for me.

I'm pretty sure I could do the live draft. I don't plan my life that far in advance so I have no idea what my schedule would be.

 

I may or may not be up for a live draft. Truth be told, like Horsey I don't know at this time because I don't plan that far ahead.
