And I'm upset with Fox Sports Net right now, because they're SUPPOSED to be showing the USC-SoCal game right now, but when I drove home specifically to watch that game, since we dont get it here, they were only showing some stupid quotes show, and not the game.

 

bah... I have so many thread ideas... now I'm just waitin for midnight to roll around so I can start making threads again.

 

Hmm... 700 posts in the forum with a bit over 2 hours left to go in the day. So it won't hit 1000 in day one, but a pretty significant day nonetheless, especially given it wasnt even a full day.

Something happend yesterday at Wally World that I didn't think would happen: management may actually consider changing my schedule! Ever since the spring, I've been stuck with the closing (for 90% of my work week, I work earlier on Sundays) shift at my Wally World, which has been recently moved from 3pm-12am, to 4pm-1am. My winter break begins on December 23rd, and I always bump my work week from 4 to 5 days, to obviously earn more $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Schedules are done a few weeks in advance, and when I presented to my assistant manager that I want the opening shift (7am-4pm) during my break, she didn't say no to the idea. I still have to talk to my store manager to finalize it all, but this is much further than I got with my previous assistant manager, who always insisted that she needed me to close & that would have been the end of that. What does this mean in terms of sports? Well, if I get to open starting late next month, I can watch Laker games live on days when I work, instead of taping them & having to wait until 2am to watch it (as what I'll have to do tonight/early tommorow morning. Obviously this would apply to the Dodgers once the '07 MLB season begins, but I don't know what my spring schedule at college will be yet.
