Any chance we can get the title edited to reflect the start of the MLB season? And:

I'm much more an Explorer when it comes to liquor, specifically in making mixed drinks.

I didn't know exactly how & where to mention this, so I suppose I'll do it here; A lot has happened over the past few days concerning my beloved Dodgers & Lakers, some of it not so terrible in the long run (the Greinke injury), some of it potentially frightening in the long run (Kobe's career could be over), which is a lot to think about & ponder, but all of that matters little right now. Yesterday the mother of one my closest friends passed away due to complications from cancer (it began a few months ago in her pancreas, and it eventually spread). Medically, the news wasn't a shock, since the friend had told me earlier last week that he & the family were informed by the doctors at Cedars Sinai that the end was near, and that hospice care should be an option, but obviously that doesn't change the emotions involved when hear of such news, and though when I talked to my friend on the phone/ met up with him later on in the evening, he seemed to be holding it together, but the emotional pain was still very evident. Sports can serve as a great distraction & a form of healing in tough emotional times, but it will take a bit of time to get there.

Pancreatic cancer is probably one of the worst cancers because it's so often caught too late (mostly due to there being no truely reliable test available to catch cancer of the pancreas in it's early stages). Much sympathies to you and your friend and his family, Tunick.

And so ends my only post on the topic of the Royal Baby ... pending me finding any other great Photoshop pieces, that is.

Anybody watch/DVR Olbermann's new show last night? It was outstanding- a little self-glorification, but not enough to outweigh the great stuff, like hearing him do highlights again.

I did! Aside from spending 10+ minutes* on the Jets (really?), and the issue you bring up, I loved it. As I've said before, I've been a huge fan Olbermann's work throughout recent years on MSNBC/Current TV. Obviously I don't always agree with the man (as should be the case with anyone we like to watch/follow in the media), but he puts on a entertaining & thoughtful show.

*Of course it was hypocritical of him to lash out against the newspaper industry for cooking/ginning up stories, considering ESPN's ability to do it so very well.
