Not only that, but from what I remember going ot games; you got one section in the outfield doing player chants. What I find amazing is that the players like Jeter, Arod and all of them for that matter, from what I noticed, seemed to respond to them, if only by a simple wave of the glove, which happens before the game starts.

Then I think when a big at bat comes up, depending on who it is, you usually get the crowd cheering that players name.

Yankee stadium is indeed a fun experience.

You probably haven't been to a Yankee game in a long, long time.

Sweet Caroline was played at the Angels/Dodgers game last Sunday. I shook my head in disgust.

Right field bleachers are tough on the back.
I know they say the real fans sit out there.
    But I think that's a bunch of B.*.
They're too poor to get good seats.
    I'm telling you.
Your ass will be numb by the 3rd inning.
Though doing the Yankee roll call and all the heckling is funny :p

McCourt changed the right field bleachers at Dodger Stadium to an all you can eat section before this season started. I don't think it's worth the $25-$40 for the ticket.

Good to know I convinced someone. :p

And I agree with you about the all-you-can-eat thing, because the most I could possible eat is around two hot dogs and a pretzel and wash it down with a soda (beer is not part of that, I assume), and that isn't worth the price of the seat.

If McCourt was offering everything on the bleacher menu for the all you can eat section, then it would be worth it. However, the only foods you get for free in right field are the following: Dodger Dogs, nachos, peanuts, popcorn, water, & soda. As great as all those things are, I don't eat the same combo of food every time I visit Chavez Ravine: I always mix it up (as much as it's possible) a bit. Beer is actually availble in the all you can eat section, but obviously that aint free.

I found out recently that the ushers at Safeco Field are now handing out red cards to "unruly" fans at the games. [face_plain]

Apparently, heckling and excessive cheering/booing are among the "offenses" that can get you kicked out. [face_plain] [face_plain]

Of course, this is the same place that banned "Yankees suck" t-shirts, so I can't say I'm surprised. Anything above a golf clap will get you dirty looks. It's not as bad in the nosebleeds, but c'mon... I wonder why they even bother having Family Sections - the entire stadium is one big "no fun zone". [face_plain] [face_plain] [face_plain]

    that's ... stupid.

I'm not saying that paying for a ticket gives you the right to say/do whatever you want. But it gives you the right to cheer/boo/heckle as long as you don't cross lines of decency.

    Exactly.

But this is Seattle, where I've been shushed at a football game.

    Yes, I'm serious. :p

I was at a Mariners game last season and yelled for the beer guy (who really wasn't that far away, so it wasn't like I yelled at the top of my lungs or anything). A lady behind me said I didn't need to yell, I could just raise my hand and he'd see me. I was so confused, I didn't know how to react. I honestly wondered if it was some sort of practical joke.

Wrigley Field was a remarkable place to be. I'm not sure how many folks here have been there, but they cheer hard for their team, even if it's just another ordinary game (of course, the day I was there, it was no ordinary day for Zambrano and Barrett).

You should see me and my buddy at Met games. We'd get ejected from Safeco in a heartbeat. :p

Alot of the left field bleacher fans at Dodger Stadium would be kicked out out of any ballpark. :p

I was referring to other contraband (ie: alcohol) & the foul mouthed tirades launced at the opposing left fielder.

Can you imagine a Seattle fan, that is used to that, showing up at a Eagles home game, wearing a Seattle Jersey? They'd be in for a rude awakening. :p

Petco Park in San Diego when #51 comes in and "Hells Bells" plays over the PA.

    Trevor Time! [face_dancing]

    But, even better than that...

Being at a Charger game live and in person when Mr. MVP, LaDainian Tomlinson, broke the single-season NFL touchdown record. :D [face_flag] =D=
