The best thing in sports is a team to love. A very close second, is a team you can love to hate. So, tell us, which team do you love to hate the most?

I went Yankees. I'm a Mets fan, and I dislike the Yankees.



Suprised I didn't see my Jets up there.

 

I voted for the Patriots.

Still though...no Red Sox?

 

No surprise that I'm voting for the Patriots.

 

I would have voted for the Patriots, but I think I dislike the Dolphins more. I know I dislike the Yankees more than the Dolphins, so I went Yankees. Although those are probably my top 3 teams I dislike.

 

i voted lakers but would have voted cowboys had they been included. the yankees are up there as well.

 

I'm having trouble picking between the Yankees and SoCal. Though the Patriots come close.

 

Of that list, the Yankees. True most hated team: Vikings.

 

My absolute two hated teams/blood rivals would be the San Francisco Giants & Boston Celtics............since neither is included in this poll, I voted for the Patriots. My loathing of the Celtics has created a general disdain for Boston sports.

I voted for the Yankees. My other most hated team, the Georgia Bulldogs, isn't up there.

 

We purposefully omitted some options, and not just because space only allowed for ten. We wanted to make sure we made it a little tough on people to choose an answer, but we also wanted to make sure we represented the leagues/teams discussed most in the Arena.

Plus, while the Red Sox are missing, you've got the Patriots for your Boston hate, and the Yankees for your big spending baseball team hate. There's no Cowboys, but you've got USC for your professional football players with entourages, drug problems, and limos that annoy you.

 

Just saying, I don't hate any of those teams. I don't even dislike any of them. The closest thing to "not liking" I have for any of them is for the Steelers, and that's not for the Steelers as a team, it's for one specific player and how he's represented himself as a person. Pittsburgh is by and large a classy organization, the sort of organization that should be emulated. I suppose I'm just not a very hateful person, because the only two sports teams I hate are the Toronto Maple Leafs and the New York Jets. And even the Maple Leafs thing is more reflexive hated based on the Canadians/Maple Leafs divide.

 

If there was an opportunity to solve world hunger, but it meant the Steelers winning a Super Bowl...I'd have to think about it.

And yet, somehow, I "rooted" for them against that Patriots evil sweeping through the league in 2007.

AND YET...I still hate the Miami Heat more than all of that.

Went with the Yankees, though it was close between them and the Lakers.

I think I hate the Colts the most.

 

I went with the Pats, but Duke isn't far behind, and same for the Yankees. RSL is further back on my list, but I definitely don't like them.


The Ravens are probably my most hated team, with the Flyers not far behind.

I went with the Yankees. I hate them and their goat sleeping CEO, Owners, Presidents, and 3 baseman.

If the Cowboys were on here I would be they would end up in the top 3 for voting.

RSL is the most hated soccer team in the US. We're really trying to push soccer in the Arena right now.

 

As much as I want to see a vote up there against the Stealers...I had to vote for the Heat. Just the mention of them makes my skin crawl.

 

Yep, like Lisa said, RSL ias the team we love to hate in the Landon Donovan Mancrush thread.

 

Voted for SoCal, though it was tough not voting for the Yankees or Patriots.

Maybe LA can get their own Lane Kiffin Garbage Disposal Center or something like that

 

Where are the Philadelphia Flyers and Montreal Canadians?! *fits waving*

 

I want to hate the Miami Heat the most. I really do.

But, I find they just aren't worth my time.

The Miami Heat are like the kid who takes his ball and runs home when he can't win.

And, you don't hate that kid. You just stop inviting him over.

For me, the choice came down to this:

I hate the Ravens a lot more than the Patriots.
I hate the Red Sox (and Marlins) more than the Yankees.
I don't follow the NHL, but when I did, the Red Wings were the team I hated most.

The Red Wings are from Michigan.

Hence, I voted for the Red Wings.


Although, I wanted to give a pity vote to RSL.
