Nyborg mentioned that we could have a universal movie outing thread (since we seem to see a lot of movies together) that way the board isn't clogged with a bunch of dead one movie threads.
I hope that made sense, I've been up all night.
So, just pop in here and check it out from time to time. We'll change the title to reflect whatever movie is out at the time.



So, with that said.

There is a group of us planning on seeing Narnia on Friday December 9 at 10:30am
This is the first showing of the flick.
We are going to the Rave to see it.

the last time i taught LWW, was five years ago. i found gresham's email address and wrote him. he wrote a very nice email back although it has since been lost. 9th is afriday right? well, the byrds will probably make the saturday 10:30 show.

Got a taste of that last night. Had too much coffee yesterday (one heaping tablespoon instant coffee for each of my 2 cups) to soften the blow of the test score I wasn't looking forward to seeing (don't ask!) and I kid you not...I laid in bed all last night hoping I'd drift off any minute and it finally happened.......after break of dawn.

Anyway, I finally found this thread, and I plan on being there. I am looking very forward to seeing LWW. I used to have the original 2-tape version and I still have the cartoon. I should be able to find the place; I'll just leave for the Rave an hour ahead of time (or should I make it 2, considering opening day?).

I want to see Narnia, but am busy Friday night. However, I think I want to see Harry Potter again more. Anybody else up for another helping from the Goblet?

 

For clarification - It is the 1030 AM showing that we are going to be attending in case anybody else wants to go. Too cold to be doing a 1030PM one

Holy SithSpit! That movie was blasted long!!! Actually when we got to the Empire State Building I was like, "Has it already been three hours?" It was awesome! Not the best of the year, but I quite enjoyed. Thanks Denise, Gary, BJ and Darren!

I really wish they had left the bugs out. Oh my goodness, King Kong is over 3 hours long? I don't know if I'll get around to seeing it here in California. I'll probably wait till it comes out to the Tandy 10. So how long was it?

I believe the list shows it at 187 mins long. Didn't feel that long to me though.. Movie was great

 

Cool; I don't enjoy watching movies alone (which is why I don't watch my ROTS much) so if I can find someone to hit it with me at Lakewood 8 or Tandy 10, I would love to see it.
