She's quite lovely!!
love the smooth pencils
Thank you both NYCitygurl and Earlybird-Obi-Wan!
I enjoyed doing the colour work for Kaylee and I feel that it turned out well. Because of that... at the moment, I am contemplating about whether I should add colour to some of the other drawings I have done.
Lovely work CO especially on the picture with the colours!
A nice thing to see before I go on holiday.
Thank you J-L for your kind words! I hope you'll have an awesome and safe holiday!
You got me thinking about a few ideas and I can't wait to start on them.
It has been a while and my studies are keeping my busy. While my drawing time is limited nowdays, I have been doing some sketches and working on some pieces when I do get the time.
Ahsoka Tano - Padawan Sketch
Ahsoka Tano as a little older during the Clone Wars. This sketch was done for the Pictionary that is currently happening. The picture was taken from my camera as the scanner was unavailable.
I hope to have some free time soon to complete more drawings.
Nice to see you back with more artwork.
I always knew some Ahsoka would crop up.
You really do have a talent for drawing.
Thank you, it is great to be back Earlybird-Obi-Wan. I have been trying to balance both art and writing in my spare time.
Oh J-L, Ahsoka updates are always bound to happen sooner or later.
I patiently wait then, because a teacher always has something in the summer what he/ she usually does not possess while working: time! Lot´s of spare time!
Thank you AzureAngel2 , I can not wait for the summer and the holidays too. This winter has been... wet and cold but now starting to warm up.
Hopefully this weekend I will get time to continue with the drawings I've got in the works. I should post another WIP to show the status of some of them soon. I kept mentioning storyboards relating to some of my writing in my previous post so I should showcase some of that too.
Very cool! She looks very realistic
Thank you NYCitygurl, it was fun drawing that piece and I have to admit the hardest part was stopping.
I do promise another update soon.
Thank you AzureAngel2, I do have a small update today .
"Just a sssmall ssssmackerel... or two..."
I've finally found out how to direct link from DeviantArt. This piece is part of a composition that was featured in the Game 2 of Pictionary. I love making things fun by making it special and I thought it would be great to have Winnie the Pooh. The Disney theme continues to the other part with Timon and Pumbaa. The full version can be viewed here.
Battle of Jabiim
This composition was made to recreate a moment from the Battle of Jabiim to fit in with a series of "holo-footage" for a joint post on 21/8/11 in GAW IV containing Ahsoka Tano and Artoo-Detoo. I wanted to give the impression that it is archival footage being played through the holonet.
On another note, I plan to revamp my index sometime down the track. I have 4 other artworks nearly completed and I hope to do some progress this coming weekend.
Nice to see new works. Love the Pooh
Thank you! This is what I love about the pictionary game, I couldn't resist doing Pooh bear. Once I start, I found it hard to stop adding to it, even got the balloon that carried him there is floating away in the distance.
I just love Winnie, dear Outrider. Great piece!
So simple, so elegant, so thrilling!
Good choice of materials!
I am glad that you love it AzureAngel2
I plan to do more Disney works down the track, I do have a Simba piece along the way!
This is a small update.
A year ago I had showed a preview of a piece that I had been working on.
Because of commitments, it had been sitting on the backburner.
To celebrate the Blu-Ray release of this beloved series, I have an update on that work:
'The Tyrant Queen'
I hope you'll enjoy
That t-rex is looking good so far. Can't wait to see it completed. The texturing is prolly gonna drive you batty. I know it drives me nuts, spending hours upon hours on what to most might seem like niggly lil details, but to the artist are important... The shading is looking very nice.
Thank you! Drawing the details of the skin has not been too bad so far, surprisingly, I guess because I enjoy the subject matter and I had been working on and off over a period of time. The extra detail that gets put in makes it so much more and is worth it. When I was doing landscapes... drawing the individual rocks and leaves drove me a bit batty but it looked great. I'm still comtemplating how far I will draw her, maybe fade out where the neck connects to the body.
Awesome details on the Rex and her skin.
Thank you earlybird-obi-wan, I hope to make some more progress this coming weekend .
My last update for 2011, the time is 27 min from midnight.
Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan
"Obi-Wan. Have you done as I asked? Have you trained the boy?"
"Master Qui-Gon? How are you here?"
"I am here because you are here."
This was made as a gift for Earlybird-Obi-Wan. Inspired by the events that took place on Mortis during the Clone Wars, I wanted to do something different from the well known Master and Padawan relationship from The Phantom Menace. I love the idea of a more mature Kenobi communicating with his former Master and about his own Padawan too.
Happy New Year everyone!! I hope everyone will be having a great time for their choice of how they celebrate the coming of the new year.
19 min till midnight now, I'll see you all in the new year
Happy New Year!
