So, how is everyone's day?

Mine is pretty bad so far...I wake up having to read a PM from a , um, certain moderator about my behavior in a certain forum. Then some stuff with some plans I had went completely the other way and backfired on me and then, yea, you get the picture

Other than that, however, it's about 100 degrees where I am and I am dying...

 

I spent the day with one of my friends building lightsabers from scratch out of galvanized pipe and various other stuff... heavy as heck, but with easily-removable blades and "realistic metal finish?!". Fun.

 

You know what I found pretty cool today, that I've been away most of the day, and I come back to, like, a trillion posts in the fan art forum! This is so great!

I'd like to pick up on the creativity chat that Otis started, but I just dropped by for a minute. I'll be back later tonight to Spew forth my ideas on the subject! Everyone run away, run away!

Oh, and Thrawn (who is now forever pegged as "mysterious" in my mind ) I couldn't get your link to work - I even tried copy+paste!

There was a huge update to TFN's Fan Art page today (and I guess I'm not banned, because they finally posted some of my stuff).

There is some great new work there. Maybe we could contact some of these artists and encourage them to participate in our forum. They may not even know we're here . .

It's not grease, they made everyone hold thier breathe for the picture he used as reference so everyone is turning red and weating.

 

Well, I'm certainly no Jabachile, but I like your Old Luke, Thrawn! I really like the eyes. How'd you do it? In Photoshop?

 

I was just asking cause he posted, meaning he was online at the time.

Thanks... yeah, in Photoshop. Some of it does look like acrylic, though... I'll post the original sketch in a bit.

 

BTW, I forgot to add that that is my first attempt at 'painting' with Photoshop.
