Don't remind me
And that's exactly what happened.
wow...we got swept by the mets...
Yesterday's game is the toughest of them all to swallow, though. All those runners stranded, Hanson only giving up an unearned run on Chipper's throwing error...and not even having a chance to try to come back.
Ouch, rain delay costing the Braves the game. Definitely one of the worst ways to lose a game.
Hey, look, the Braves have scored today! More than 1 run, even!
and they still lost...
8-11....come on Braves...
Its been a frustrating stretch, to say the least.
another one run loss
8-13 now, eh?
Yep, 8 in a row. Only team with a worse record is Baltimore (though some others are 8-13 or 8-12 as well)
Really can't blame the pitching, though - they've done pretty well. Just can't score runs. And its hard to win when you get shut out, no matter how good your pitching is.
wah wah wah
Feels like 3 losses in one today. Not only did the Braves lose their 9th straight, but also lost Jair Jurrjens and Yunel Escobar to injury. Fortunately, neither looks to be serious (Jurrjens is hoping he'll be ok to start next week and Escobar is day to day)... but we'll see.
YAY, WE WON!
8 good innings from Tommy Hanson and the sixth homer of the season for Jason Heyward. More important, it was actually a win Finally.
hopefully this continues
Hey[ward], a sweep!
It would be fair to say right now that as Heyward goes, so go the Braves
It does seem like it though, doesn't it?
Saw the splits on that the other day... in Braves victories, Heyward is batting over .400; in losses, under .100 - that's a pretty big difference
I just got Heyward in a trade. Now if only McCann could heat up a little.
The rest of the team needs to heat up a little
Wow, Heyward's doing really well so far. Possible ROY this season if this continues?
He needs to get more consistent first. But yes, he should be in the running for ROY.
