That was a tough ending to watch last night. Not only could the Braves not get anything in support while Kawakami was on the mound, but the collision between Heyward and McClouth didn't look good at all. And that collision meant Moylan got charged with the first HR he'd given up in over 100 innings.

At least Heyward seemed to come away fine, hopefully McClouth will be ok as well. Walking off under his own power last night was a good sign.

2 out of 3 from the Twins, not bad.

gotta watch the Mets though. They're only a game behind.

We have to win these next few games. If the Mets win tonight and we lose, Mets will be number 1.

Tough right now when the Braves are playing the Rays, who have had the best record in baseball... and the Mets are playing Cleveland, who... yeah.

Killer start to interleague play for the Braves against Minnesota and Tampa Bay... but at least the Royals are up next, before we see the White Sox and Tigers.

That is awesome. It took me like 30 minutes to get the joke (I saw it here then on someone at tonight's game.)

Going for the sweep of Kansas City today, after Troy Glaus hit a walk-off homer yesterday :)

How many walk-offs is that for the Braves this year now?

Don't know, but it probably won't be the last.

    And we swept them. :)

Kawakami starts, the Braves win... but Kawakami struggled early and doesn't get a win.

He may not have much more time, with Jurrjens coming back around the end of the month.

ESPN's MLB power rankings are out, and they have the Braves at #4. For some reason, they are rated behind a team we have a better record than and just won a series against (Tampa Bay). They did the same thing last week, putting the Twins ahead of us.

Struggled in the 9th, but a win is a win. And hey, even more amazing, it was a win for Kawakami, finally!

Hudson vs Strasburg... don't expect to see too many runs tonight.

Though I won't be watching. College World Series championship series!
