FF:VIC The Attack of the Locked Topics

I decide to drop back in here and see how things are going, and find a mess of locked topics. I also find I can't unlock ones I've created in here. Not used to that. Weird.

Anyway, I'm no longer in the Wimmera. I am in... guess it... Melbourne! Yes, I have returned to civilisation! I'm teaching here now, English and Literacy. No more wishing I was there.

Btw, did anyone else go check out Kevin J Anderson last year?

I'm a member of the Borders Booklovers Club, so I got an email to let me know that KJA and his wife were in town for a booksigning. Unfortunately, all my books of his were five hours away at the time, so I bought one of his new ones. Yet to have the time to read it.

Hm... threads... anyone remember the food fight? That has to be a couple of years back now.

As for where I'm living - I'm in Roxburgh Park. Nice little place, rather quiet, although I still won't go out of a night. I've heard too many things about this area of Melbourne (I'm between Broadmeadows and Craigeburn). And I'm loving teaching. Mind, I am going on strike on Thursday. Might I recommend that people try to avoid the city on Thursday, as we're marching from Vodophone Arena to Parliament House.
