Isn't having Hulk on your team sort of cheating? I mean, he can destroy everything and is basically indestructable.
If your victory plan revolves around waiting for him to turn back into Bruce Banner and then kicking ass it's not a very good plan. I assume there will be a point in the movie when Loki will keep Banner/Hulk detained somewhere and the tables turns in the Avengers' favour once he is free.

I don't see how its cheating. He still has his limits, he isn't invincible. And while there are the odd moments when he demonstrates a (albiet strange) sense of morality/right and wrong, he can be just as damaging to your cause when he slips into a blind rage. So he isn't a weapon you want to take out unless its an absolute last resort.

Not to mention we don't know what role he will play yet. While I assume he will eventually be a team-player (as we see him standing along side the other Avengers) don't forget that the original formation of the team was based on heroes individually coming together to deal with the Hulk (manipulated by Loki). After they realize what is going on, he joins the team (though doesn't always stick around for very long). His relationship with the team can be tumultuous at best sometimes, but something that could be fascinating to explore.

So no I don't think its cheating, he is a trump card with a high-risk factor involved.

Love it. I think at this point the only thing missing, is Steve calling for a certain gathering of heroes, a beckoning to regroup as a team, a cry to unify collectively as a force.

The big snake thing at the end reminds me a bit too much of Transformers but overall I like it. Banner's line: "We're not a team, we're a time bomb!" really sells how dysfunctional this team will be at the start.

Looks awesome, can I see it now?

I like the renderings of the Hulk in this, in that it has more of a Jack Kirby look to him.

I think whomever cut that trailer together spent too much time watching Transformers 3.

Though I have to admit sheer awesomeness of having Optimus Prime as an honorary Avenger.

I was thinking the same thing about the Transformers snake. Partly the style of it, but mostly the sound fx. It clearly is not TF based, however, because it is clearly visible, in detail, and the camera isn't shaking all over the place while the snake is on screen.

I fell asleep watching The Avengers.

That Avengers/Transformers crossover comic was pretty bad, but it did create one of my favorite comic book images of all time:

Spider-Man starring down Megatron is just too awesome for words.

Plus when the camera pans around the circle of Avengers, it isn't angled upwards from the ground and moving in slow-motion.

It isn't as bad as Transformers #3, in which spider-man webs up Megatron.

You know, if Spider-man and the Transformers are in the same universe, and the Transformers and G.I.Joe are in the same universe (multiple cross-over stories), why do the Avengers and/or SHIELD never team up with G.I.Joe?

Oh boy, can't wait!!!

Tee-hee, now I have a mental image of Batman sucker-punching the Hulk.
