Last night drove to Chicago to see Elbow at the House of Blues.

They are just amazing live and it was so fun to watch, listen and sing along with them. [face_love]

Got tickets for the Paul Simon & Sting double act thing. Odd pairing, but should be fun.

Come to think of it I have seen one concert recently

Local indie rising star Sarah Jaffe headlined a free concert after a cultural festival we went to.
She is amazing, I'd heard of her before then but that was all so we stuck around to catch the show.

I've been checking out her stuff since then and haven't heard anything I don't really like.

I have tickets for Spandau Ballet with Nik Kershaw, and also to a solo show from Midge Ure.

Also WOMAD where the headliners include Sinead O'Connor, Yossou N'Dour, and Richard Thompson.

Cheap Trick sounds like a good time. Billy Idol sounds kinda iffy.

Paul Simon's Graceland is a perfect album; I agree with that link you shared Jaypes.

Yay! So good. So many top musicians. Both artist's bands, blended with up to 18 on stage at once, kinda spectacular. Vinnie Colaiuta, David Sanchez, Bakithi Kumalo...
