    And, as if Seth wasn't already awesome for helping make Cosmos happen, he recently pledged to match every dollar needed to get the Reading Rainbow kickstarter to it's stretch goal, basically adding an extra $1 million to it's total.

    Next season is set to premiere on Fox in the US on March 3rd and then airing as a global event on March 4th on National Geographic in 172 countries and 43 languages.

    Side note: In the press release it says Season 3 and it took me a little research to figure out why.

    According to Fox, "Cosmos" now titled "Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey" with Neil deGrasse Tyson [2014] is Season 2 so Season 1 must be "Cosmos: A Personal Voyage" with Carl Sagan's [1980]. Therefore "Cosmos: Possible Worlds" would be third.

    I'm psyched about this series. NGT's reboot was the most fascinating series I'd watched on television in decades; since Wild America or PBS' Nova.

    That’s cool that they’ve more directly linked the new series with the original- especially given how the new series utilized clips from it.

    Easily the most fascinating thing on television, BAR NONE. I could marathon-watch that entire series (including the predecessor series all the way back to Carl Sagan) for hours on end instead of the same anxious news about coronavirus.
