Righto, we are heading there on Feb 5 and we are just basically going to go to places along the main street, searching with great hope for that oh so famous vodka bar and that oh so ravashing bartender.. but in order to get to main st without driving - for we all want to get a little silly - we will be heading out from Mixo's place (lol my god this is going to be hiliarious). So yeah, thats the plan.

Are you doing Summer School at melb uni? my roommate is the coordinator for the literature course..

Of course, it should be said, that Mixo has not been involved in the planning stages of this operation, as is fitting.

Bam. Couldn't have burnt Mixo more even if you'd had a spice weasel.

I hear they got the wheel out in Sebas the other day, Mixo. Has it revolutionised your agricultural society?

Forget January 26, FEBRUARY 5 IS INVASION DAY. This means the coming Saturday. Back of the car. You know what I mean. It would be sensational to have an idea of who is going.. Damir do you have this party or not? Nathan, Mel?

What time would this event be starting? If it's a Saturday night I believe Sir Cahill doesn't finish work until 6.

Also, are we planning to stay there? Or shall we begin a fight to the death over which poor sucker is DD?

We are crashing uninvited at Mixos. Although he doesn't know about that yet, so don't tell him.

bah. It turns out that i can't come... but you can come to me.

My band is playing at Grainery Lane that night (the only place in ballarat worth going to see bands at. Except the Karova Lounge, but i haven't been there yet) so come see us! Erm, that is if you are willing to....

    What kind of band?

And more importantly, does it serve "tasty beverages"?

And Le James, I'm in on the condition that we're back in Melbourne before 4pm Feb 6th.

    Onward!!

I nominate tent pitching in the STICKS of sebastapol as a last resort.

It does indeed serve tasty beverages.

And the band is sort of reggae/funk. Kind of like Bomba if you know them.

That is a good reccomendation. However if (or should I say when) you fall short of Le Bomba I will be sad. :(

Bomba rocked at Evelyn the other night, and Ruby's Grace were supeyb. I say our first task is to find that vodka bar (and more importantly she-who-has-no-name), followed by some funk and drinking.

...Oh yeah, and look for Mixo in between somewhere there.

We will pop by boogie and listen to his tales of musical woe as well just because it is the sporting thing to do

    Excellent.

We play from 9-10. If you come at another time you might catch a local blues band. Which is good, if you are into 12 bar blues. If you are not, then don't bother...

Uh, yeah, there's no way in hell we are going to be as good as Bomba are, PoT. However, we can be a reasonable Bomba substitute if they aren't anywhere to be found. And it's Bob Marley's birthday the next day so expect a little bit of His music thrown in.
