oh, i don't dispute that sanders is good. he's very good. like i said, it was between the two, and it was really close. like almost flip a coin close.

Well you took him before my turn so there's no telling if I wanted him or not. I'll certainly not give you the satisfaction of knowing that you've taken two prospects in a row from me. Certainly not.

ah ha. i see. i dunno if taking guys who other people want is a good thing or not... especially if its yak that wants them.

 

Truthfully, I wanted Sanders more, as I'm not sure if the sim takes height into account. Otherwise pretty much the same thing.

actually, no. probably not lloyd. just because i'm contrary i'd probably have avoided the alliteration inherent in heads for hibbert.

hmm... that is a good question. i don't see how they could avoid taking height into account though, as it's one of the fundamental things that makes players different. like if jordan had to guard shaq, if they didn't take the height and weight difference into account, there's no way to even remotely get an accurate prediction on that one.

i think one of the things that made me go with hibbert over sanders other than height, was that he's a bit better in a few advanced metrics, he scores more, and he's better on the offensive boards.

 

Heads for Hibbert should be your team name!

 

But worse on defensive boards(talking about a 2% difference on oreb as compared to 8% on def), not to mention the positionally below average fg%, which is what really killed him for me. If I'm right, fg% counts more than ppg. But I could be wrong about the sim.

 

well, given that he's backing up noah and chandler... i'm slightly less concerned about that than i would have otherwise been.

however, considering i don't know which stats are most heavily weighted in the sim, i guess we'll be seeing. and again, if the size thing comes into play, that'll make a bit of a difference as well.
