Out of town on business right now. Depending on when I get to my hotel tonight I might get some matches done tonight.

In the mean time, agree or disagree: with fourth quarter collapses and horrible end game strategies, Mike Brown is the coach within the simulator ...

Boogie and the Indecisions vs. The Tune Squad

    Game 1 Play by Play
    Game 2 Play by Play
    Game 1 Box Score
    Game 2 Box Score

Boogie and the Indecisions hit their first two field goals in the first minute of the game. They hit another just about 2 minutes in. They wouldn't hit another for the entire first quarter. The Tune Squad would use that slow start to power their way to a blowout victory. Dwyane Wade powered the victory from the perimeter with 26 points, and Serge Ibaka (13 points, 14 rebounds) and Greg Monroe (10 points, 10 rebounds) controlled the interior. Boogie was a woeful 36% from the field and 3/16 from downtown, "highlighted" by Andre Iguodala's 3/12 and 0/4.

Boogie got a better start to the rematch, but not enough to hold off The Tune Squad. Kevin Durant scored 28 points, but he was one-upped by Dwyane Wade and Damian Lillard combining for 41, as the Tune Squad completed the series sweep.

Game, Blouses vs. Shaqtastic - 29 Points

    Game 1 Play by Play
    Game 2 Play by Play
    Game 1 Full Box Score
    Game 2 Full Box Score

Game, Blouses got aggressive in game one of the series. And that aggression got them a win. Game, Blouses got to the charity stripe 27 times during the game, and made 21 of them. Tony Parker had 21 points and 13 assists to key the attack, while JR Smith added 18 points, and Dwight Howard added 12 points and 10 rebounds. That allowed Game, Blouses to overcome 27 points from Kyrie Irving.

Cleveland proved an all-too perfect setting for Shaqtastic in game two. Down five with ninety second to go, they rallied. a Kevin Garnett finger roll on a beautiful feed from Irving cut the deficit to three, and then Irving's floater with 21 seconds left made it a one-point game. Tony Parker went to the line with 13 seconds left and a chance to ice the game, but missed both, giving the fans in Cleveland the rare chance at a happy ending. But, JJ Hickson's shot was blocked by Danilo Gallinari at the buzzer to give the fans a very Cleveland ending, as Shaqtastic wasted double-doubles from Irving, Hickson, and Andre Drummond.

Fast and Furious Floppers vs. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club

    Game 1 Play by Play
    Game 2 Play by Play
    Game 1 Box Score
    Game 2 Box Score

The Fast and Furious Floppers found themselves oh so close to snapping their losing streak. And yet, at the same time, oh so far away. Russel Westbrook made three of four free throws down the stretch, meaning the Melo three at the buzzer was just for looks, and not to impact the game's result. Russel Westbrook proved too much for the Floppers to handle, pouring in 41 points, and adding 9 assists and 7 rebounds, meaning the Floppers wasted a fantastic game from 'Melo (24 points, 15 rebounds).

The return trip to Boston did nothing to help end the Floppers losing ways. Five players on Sgt. Pepper's Loney Heart's Club scored in double figures - headlined by 31 for Westbrook, giving him 72 pints in the 2-game series - and that balance proved too much for the Floppers to handle, as Sgt. Pepper cruised to victory.

    BLEACH?!?!?!?! vs. L.A. Courtsiders

    Game 1 Play by Play
    Game 2 Play by Play
    Game 1 Box Score
    Game 2 Box Score

BLEACH?!?!?!?! entered the game in LA with a winning streak and plenty of momentum. They left with none of those, but plenty of bad mistakes and turnovers to fill their film sessions. BLEACH?!?!?!?! turned it over 23 teams, and an opportunistic Courtsiders squad had 15 steals (4 from Luol Deng, and 3 each from Kobe Bryant and Ty Lawson) to turn an otherwise statistical deadlock into a win. Kobe also had 21 points and 9 dimes, with Zach Randolph adding 20 points as well. That allowed the Courstiders to overcome a 22/18 night from Tim Duncan.

The series shifted to the Omni, and for a quarter, it looked like momentum would not switch with it. The L.A. Courtsiders came out on fire on the road, opening a 15 point lead after the first 12 minutes. However, BLEACH?!?!?!?! responded with an equally strong second quarter, sending the game to intermission knotted at 50. However, five points in the final 14 seconds of the third quarter put momentum squarely with BLEACH?!?!?!?!, which they used to put the game away and split the series behind 25 points and 14 rebounds from Duncan.

The Knight Shift vs. Heads for Hibbert

    Game 1 Play by Play
    Game 2 Play by Play
    Game 1 Box Score
    Game 2 Box Score

The Knight Shift looked poised to end their losing streak. Until the third quarter. Heads for Hibbert tuned a 5-point halftime deficit into a 16-point lead heading into the final period, and were able to cruise to a victory at home. Heads for Hibbert shot lights out for the game - a sizzling 59% - and controlled the paint - a 47-33 edge on the glass - to get the win. There was a balanced approach on offense, with SEVEN different players scoring in double figures for Hibbert.

The rematch followed a very similar script. Just with a less dramatic third quarter collapse for the Knight Shift. This time, the halftime lead was only 2 for the Knight Shift. But, still, it was a third quarter that turned the tide for Hibbert, and balance on offense - again, seven different players in double figures scoring - that was the difference.

LeBron and the Frontrunners vs. 10 Points for Griffindor

    Game 1 Play by Play
    Game 2 Play by Play
    Game 1 Box Score
    Game 2 Box Score

LeBron and the Frontrunners came. LeBron and the Frontrunners saw. And, Lebron and the Frontrunners most definitely conquered. Kevin Martin exploded for 31 points on 10/13 shooing (including 5/6 from downtown), and Derron WIlliams added 17 points and 13 assists and Al Horford had 12 points and 12 rebounds, allowing LeBron and the Frontrunners to act like a Buzzsaw on 10 Points for Griffindor, despite a relatively quiet night from Lebron himself (13 points, 9 assists).

In the rematch in Seattle, LeBron James woke up, going for 21 points and 16 rebounds, but 26 points, 5 assists, 5 rebounds, and 4 teals from James Harden and a Nikola Vucevic tip-in of a Harden miss at the buzzer gave Griffindor the shock road win. The final two points from Vucevic capped a stellar night where he scored 17 points and grabbed 15 rebounds, including 8 on the offensive glass, to outshine the 16/13 night from Al Horford, and help his team split the series.
