My team is just that much better than yours Ef.

    Also, screw you Tom.

Idk if defense metrics play into this. Or how they do if they do. But give me Andre igudala.

A pick in this system can be rewarded twice for being considered a good pick. Once for the actual productivity of the player and once for the "value" of the selection. Similarly, a pick can be punished twice for being considered a bad pick. Once for lower productivity, and once for poor value.

With only four picks, it's not hard to see how good value + good productivity on a couple of picks can lead to very high scores.

Also, LeBron James and Kevin Durant. They both scored incredibly high for both value and productivity.

    But what are you using?

And apparently I've been betting on the wrong horse this whole time. I've been stalking the sim basketball league forums for tips on what to look for in players--what stat categories are important and how the engine works. Well, it turns out that the sim league and the sim match up use entirely different engines, so I've been building my whole team wrong. Oh well. Guess I'll go down with the ship. It's still fun anyway.

It's based on various stat geeks formulas for EWA/WAA/Similar

(That's Estimated Wins Added, Wins Against Average)
