Comment: This is my first story and I just decided to do it so all this is written as I think it up. Hope you like it.



Canderous Ordo was a mandalorian warrior of the clan Ordo. He had been in several battles already during the Mandalorian Wars and was expecting another as his force moved toward Althir, a planet which the Mandalorians intended to take. Canderous' good friend Jagi was in a nearby ship preparing himself for the battle as well. He was a lower rank than Canderous but still a great warrior and respected among the soldiers. Egeron was another notable Mandalorian warrior who was on Canderous' ship at the time of the battle. Egeron and Canderous were good friends and both hoped to win the next fight.

Canderous lay in his bed while in hyperspace. He dreamed of great glory in battle yet great death. He awoke to the screams of his own soldiers in his dream and grabbed his forehead. He came to his senses as an alarm went off. They had arrived at Althir along with the rest of the fleet. Canderous himself was commanding several ships with Egeron as his captain. Jagi was captaining his own ship awaiting Canderous' orders. Canderous ran into the bridge and saw the Althiri fleet outside of the observation window. Only a small part of the fleet, it was still enormous.

DAY 1

Canderous mobilized his forces and followed the orders of the high command to engage the Althiri fleet despite the size. His fleet attacked. Their lasers fired toward the Althiris who already had fighters zooming toward the Mandalorian fleet. The lasers fired and hit the fighters like a wave but many got through opened fire. Canderous had already ordered his own star fighters out to fight off the enemy. As he did this, he ordered two ships next to him to turn at 45 degrees yaw port and let out their fighters as they fired their lasers at an opposing fighter wing coming from an Althiri ship. It worked to perfection. As the fighters came out of the enemy's ship, they were easily destroyed one after the other. Canderous ordered the two ships to fire on the Althiri destroyer and it was shredded apart from the surprise tactic. But Canderous was still in trouble. An Althiri ship broke through his right flank where an inexperienced captain was commanding a vessel and let the enemy ship through. Canderous thought quick and turned to it while firing his own ship's laser cannons. As he did this, a few Althiri bombers hit the bridge of Canderous' ship and shook it up at an attempt to break through the shields and try to destroy the bridge. They were quickly taken care of after the failed bombing run. The Althiri ship that broke through luckily was destroyed when the inexperienced captain of the ship that allowed it in, came to his senses and hit it with everything he had along with Canderous' ship. The explosion shook both ships but no serious damage was caused. Canderous got an order to stop the attack and switch to a full defense and wait for further orders. Canderous did so.

DAY 2

What happened in the first day of the fighting didn't show much promise in winning the battle. Canderous managed to hold off the Althiri forces from overunning his position but he couldn't do it forever. He commed the commander of their forces, "Sir, this is Canderous Ordo. We can't hold the Althiri off without some rienforcements. Can you spare some ships?". The commander, known as Torlon Moretark, responded "Listen Ordo, the fighting is fierce everywhere. We cannot spare any ships as of yet. You'll have to fight it out." Canderous merely closed the communications link not bothering to respond. "Alright everyone we're in this alone. Ready the laser cannons. We're going to attack them." The officers on the deck looked worried but dared not speak up against their higher officer. Either way, Canderous wasn
