CHALLENGE #1 - Describe one of the following battles from the eyes of a clone OC of any flavor you desire (that makes sense, anyway; i.e. there wouldn't be ARC troopers at the Battle of Geonosis, clone commandos at the Battle of Coruscant, or Null-ARCs at the Battle of Kashyyyk): the Battle of Geonosis, the Battle of Krant, the Battle of Thule, the Battle of Muunilist, the Battle of Mon Calamari, the First Battle of Kamino, the Second Battle of Kamino, the Battle of Coruscant, the Battle of Utapau, or the Battle of Kashyyyk. Use at least 1,500 words, please. First-person and third-person perspectives are both permissible. And last but not least, have fun!

    Chapter One - The Battle

The Galactic Senate granted Supreme Chancellor Palpatine "emergency powers" to deal with the crisis.

The battle began after Separatist forces captured Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi on Geonosis. They charged him with spying for the Republic. Of course, it was a just a ploy to see who would fall for the trap Count Dooku had set up. Anakin Skywalker and Senator Padmé Amidala walked right into the trap as they went to Geonosis to rescue Kenobi. They were also captured and sentenced to death.

A death that Gunray saw as his chance for revenge. He was delighted when the former Queen was sentenced to death and he would be there to witness it.

A group of about 212 Jedi, led by Jedi Masters Mace Windu, Luminara Unduli, Shaak Ti, and Kit Fisto were sent to Geonosis by the Jedi Council to rescue Obi-Wan and investigate reports that Separatists were constructing an army on Geonosis.

After deploying into the arena in which Kenobi, Skywalker and Amidala were to be executed in the hope of scaring the Geonosians into surrender, the Jedi were ambushed by a massive droid army. It had been a trap, and a great number of Jedi died due to their lack of military organization. The few Jedi who remained were forced into a circle, prepared to make their last stand, but at the last minute they were rescued by the timely arrival of Jedi Master Yoda leading a Republic clone army grown in secret on Kamino.

To Nute Gunray's fury, Senator Amidala escaped once again with the aid of the Jedi and the Republic's new clone army, and Gunray was barely able to flee for his own life in the melee between battle droids, Jedi Knights, and clone troopers.

The Clone Wars had begun, and Gunray suddenly found himself preparing his droids for war. Gunray was a businessperson, not a commander, but there was no way he could break his ties with the CIS without losing his life.

After the rescue of the Jedi, the droid and clone armies engaged one another in a complex series of engagements on a number of different fronts. The Republic's army landed in twelve Acclamator-class assault ships, offloading infantry, armoured vehicles, artillery and air support that included 192,000 Clone Troopers, 2,160 AT-TE walkers, 1,600 LAAT/i gunships, 400 LAAT/c cargo gunships, 100 SPHA-T artillerty units and numerous other war units.

The Separatist army consisted of droid infantry of varying strength and larger droid-controlled vehicles. Crucially, the Republic conducted an aerial bombardment of the Separatists' fighter craft, allowing the Republic's gunships to have air superiority throughout much of the battle.

Although the clone troopers were vastly outnumbered by droids, the droids were heavily exposed to attacks from the air by Republic gunships. The Republic's armoured AT-TEs were strong against the lightly armoured sp
