So Birch it may have to be. Chermside???

    Screenings @ 6, 7, & 8:30pm.
The chariot "Serenity" can provide transport for up to 4 spartans.
Those who are attending, and require a lift, contact me on my mobile.

I'm leaning towards the earlier evening sessions at this stage...
    Hope to see yas there!;)

Southbanks got it on at 7.10 and 9.45 on their huge screen.

I'm going to the 9.45 session. If time permits, I'm going to try and see TMNT at 7.25 beforehand.

    Be seeing you,

    Magnus Darcrider

I have a friend who would really love to see this on the big screen! Might bring them along, though 9:45 might be a bit late. Sure we can't go to the 7:10?

If it was to be tonight, it would have to be @ 9.45, because I just got called into work. But if the majority want to go @ 7 that's fine by me.

Since there's been no update here on what's happening, I'm going to be going to the 9:45 one that Magnus is going to. See you there if you're coming, people.

Well, I'm getting there at 6.30, buying tickets to TMNT at 7.25 and 300 at 9.45, grabbing something to eat, then melting my brain with ninjas and Spartans.

I shall then amalgamate the two movies into one in my dreams tonight to make the most awesome film ever!!

    Be seeing you,

    Magnus Darcrider

Hm. So the question is do I want to see TMNT or not? I'll definitely be in for 300, and I'll see how I feel about the Turtles.

Unfortunately, a 9:45pm screening would be way too late for this soldier... So I'll be catching the 7:10pm screening. Still not convinced of the prudence in going to Southbank at the start of the School Holidays though... Most likely, I'll opt to miss all the joy involved in wading through all them kids on Easter holidays, and catch a quiet screening at the AMC Stafford.

Sorry to be anti-social, but for what it's worth, I hope you guys have fun![face_peace]

Actually to be honest I have to agree with you there CJ, now that I consider it. Have fun folks jostling with all the kiddies at southbank :p

Actually I'd be more worried about the uni students. It's student night and there is a holiday tomorrow, imagine the chaos in the pubs and clubs!

Should be at the cinemas by 9.30. Will probably be earlier though.
Hmm... What time does 1) the cinema park close, and 2) the multi-lvl? And what price is the multi with a movie ticket...

Except that after 1am in the Southbank park, you have to foot a $35 leaving fee.

I hope at least some of you enjoyed it, because neither M_S or I could get a ticket, and I got there a bit after 8:30 when people had already started queuing.

That doesn't sound right, BBN, I got there just before 9pm and the sell-out wasn't announced until after that.
Admittedly I bumped into Magnus and he had a spare, but I'd have got to the counter and got a ticket even if he hadn't. We bumped into Josh just outside afterwards. Amazing thing is, in the end, a couple of people went and got refunds because their groups couldn't find seats together, so if you had waited around - and didn't mind crawling over a stack of people during the previews - you would have got to see it.

EDIT: Having said that, I'd definately be up for another viewing.

Cineplex will give you a refund if you can't get seats together?

To me that's weird to want a refund for that!
But I guess if the cinema will do it, it helps to make them as popular as they are.

Sigh. Typical. It wasn't announced as sold out, but the ticket lady told me it was.

I might go see it this weekend. Saturday night? Anybody interested?
