Okay, I think we're cool... ass!

And yeah, that draft was a disaster. Horrible picks and some ridiculously stacked teams in every conference... excpet for mine, of course. Of course I had to be in the one conference that knew what it was doing, so while my team was good, it paled next to the uber teams from other conferences. Even if I'd managed to scratch and claw my way to being winner of my conference, I would've been trounced like a baby kitten going up against a mountain lion by those other teams late in the playoffs. It was wonderful how any shot at winning was being yanked away from me while I couldn't do anything but shake my head in amazment. Actually, I'm kinda glad that one got canned (sort of).

naw, i can't ban anybody, my only powers are this zesty blue colored name, and OPP15seconds.
it's not a real bad gig though, and the girls love it.

but i'd have to agree with the shutdown of that other draft. not because of any of the reasons it got shutdown for, but because the competition would've been unbelievable once the pros from each division came together. and my team wasn't anything to scream about either.

oh guess what, i still have more of Polarius's picks in a box next to my shoes. since the pick of his next highest importance is still on the board, i'm going to go ahead and submit that to keep things rolling like thunder in here.

I was really hoping to grab Kyle Katarnalicious, actually. He and Vo-diggity are on roughly the same level, IMHO, and I would've preferred to go in a slightly different direction with my team. Uh yeah, who's OKing these trades? Obi and Mace on the same team in a 12 man draft? I call shenanigins. Lots of shenanigans. Ken I know we will argue about this later but come on now. I'm in no shape to argue now but I know this is a trade that should not go through.

 

well, i okayed it and i'm feeling worse about it all the time.
i too am too tired to go on about it but i feel rather foolish.
i should've given it more thought or made it so that the positions switched would have more fairness.
unlesssss...
we could all just agree to going back and making it so this all never happened.

 

Nah, it's not so bad now. At least IMO. Sure he has Obi/Mace, and that's bad ass, but look, he's now picking at the end of the third round, the lower half of the fourth and at the end of the fifth.

And though he unquestionably has the best one-two punch in the draft now, an Obi/Mace duo isn't that much more potent individually than, say, Anakin/Ulic, for example. Of course, they're much more cohesive, but I think the lower picks in the next few rounds should balance it all out just fine in the end.

 

Yeah, I agree. He does go pretty much two rounds without a pick, so if you pick well you should get at least two wins out of him no matter what, which would make up for the losses. For the recorded I almost traded him Skywalker, I was about that [] close
