The Bay City Jedi Draft

those are some mighty fine interview questions.

well, from what i understand, ken got johnny solo's mace windu to match up with his ben kenobi. this was traded for his spot in the second and third rounds as well as the fifth. i OKed it last night because i saw an incomming PM from both parties and for some silly reason it seemed fair when i read it.
however stupid it was of me, it is done and i suppose it looks a little more balanced now. i was informed also that the classic commisioneers of teh past never allowed trades in the first two rounds. i see this as a good idea and perhaps what the taoists refer to as "perfect wisdom".
i will refrain from making trades of this nature in the future. had this been a 16 man draft with 2 divisions, then this sort of team would not be that scary, but here i can see how it is.
i guess i don't know what else can be done now to further balance things, although i suppose it's not that bad.

now i have to go to class and discuss why the tempest wasn't really a Utopia for anybody. i'll be back later.

Well, it was never "crazy." You also gotta figure that this is an 8 player Draft, so your backfield comprises 2/3 of your entire roster, as opposed to when it's normally half. So it's quite an advantage if you can nab half of your squad early on with quality guys. That was one of the driving points of the entire deal, accented after you deliberated and we switched 5th picks as well.

Your killing me Jim, in most drafts Traya falls to about the 3rd round and I was banking on that happening again.

do we get any breakdowns? we dont have to have one every round, maybe every 2 or 3 rounds would be good.

I've lost out on a lot of my picks too, like Malak.

I was wanting Malak as well, it would have made for a solid top 2. Ahh the disappointments of a draft, there really is nothing else like it.

But these are some cool combos. I especially like the cute manipulative couple that is Palps/Kreia, as well as the rulebreakin' mofos that are Textile and Durron. Oh, and I can't forget the Grumpy Old Men team of Yoda/Vodo!
