I THINK there's some rule about a match having to be finished within 24 hours else it must be rescheduled.

 

As I twittererererd earlier today, can't we just kick Serbia out of UEFA and be done with it?

Or I guess more sensibly just refuse to send teams there. A statement has to be made, it's just getting ridiculous now.

What happened?

 

Loads of racist chanting against the England under-21s. Everyone saw and heard it, but their FA issued a statement saying that not only was there no racism at all, but it was the English black players faults. Big scrap between the coaching staffs at the end as well.

 

I'd hate for Serbia to be banned from international competition before they can screw over Croatia's chances in our group. After all, we thumped them good 0-3 last week - no racist chanting then, though - and I can't see Croatia winning there. Which would hugely improve our chances of qualifying directly.

Saw the story about Rio Ferdinand not wearing he anti-racism shirt, couldn't help but think of this:


Fergie is clearly the hispanic guy.

 

I guess I can understand why Rio not wearing it got most of the attention, but there were quite a few players who refused in the end.

He should have told Fergie of his intentions before SAF made the comments at the press conference though. Rio should be free not to wear it but he did make SAF look kinda bad after he said all players would wear it a day earlier.
