    lol @ Barca

That'd be great if Celtic could make it out of the Group Stage.

Never seen that before. I was worried/hopeful for a bit.

    Also, RVP is just immense.

Why would Rooney still be taking penalties? Other than that one he missed for Utd, doesn't RVP normally score from the spot?

How long was the delay? When the Bayern match ended, I checked the other scores on the internet, and saw Braga still up 1-0, assumed the match was done. More than a little surprised when I saw the 3-1 final.

I wish I could lol @ Barça but I realise that result is not favourable for Benfica at all. I'm also getting annoyed by Braga not managed to hold a lead for the second match in a row.

I read that Rod Stewart, a Celtic fan, was moved to tears by their win. Given the popular urban myth of how he showed his gratitude for the members of his band once, can't help but wonder if he was similarly of service to the Celtic players afterwards.

'Members of his band' or 'band members'?

Also, BBC has possession as 34-66%. Soccernet has it as 16-84%. lol

    Band Members' members, I guess.

    Guardian has 16.4%. UEFA.com says 28%.

I'm going to take all future possession stats with a grain of salt.

Form is temporary. Class is permanent. Except in the case of Fernando Torres, who is now ****.

I think Danny Welbeck should leave Manchester United. He's got enormous potential which is now being squashed by Robin Van Persie. If he's left too long he'll miss that period in his career where players realise their potential. Not many get the chance later in their careers. He needs to come to somewhere like Everton. For nothing, of course.

Well Chico is taking over the first forward off the bench role. And how.

What a game. Gotta love the little pea.
