Has he stopped obstructing goalkeepers at corners yet?

Ironic that the two most controversial players on the pitch both scored.

Chelsea don't exactly need Terry, he's been past his best for a long time. It would have been a bigger loss for Liverpool had Suarez been injured as he seems to be their only serious goal threat right now.

Welbeck has had chances and he hasn't scored, compare that with Hernandez who has.
RVP is not a long-term prospect, Welbeck is and if he shows signs in training that suggest he is good enough to play he will get games.

Maybe he needs to be loaned out again. Either that or be prepard when he is called upon in certain games and then earn himself a starting place as Hernandez now has.
I doubt RVP minds not starting some games.

So do you figure Fat Frank likes his chicken spicy, or does he prefer a broad noddle? Just pea pods?

I hear he also enjoys reading Glamour. Especially when he's alone.

EDIT: Not that there's anything wrong with that.

So this WIlfred Zaha. Suddenly everyone's decided that a 20 year old playing the Championship is the best thing since sliced bread. Ridiculous. Jermine freakin' Beckford looked like a world beater in the Championship... that is, before he joined Everton and had his confidence utterly shattered by the step up. Also, does anyone else think it's ridiculous that even if he features for England in Sweden tomorrow night he could still do a bunk to the Ivory Coast? It's because the match tomorrow is only a friendly.

England seem desperate for strikers, if this kid is even half-decent I say bag him for the national side.

Need someone other than Welbeck once Bent & Defoe are not around anymore.

Sterling was 5 when Gerrard made his England debut. Info like that freaks me out. :p

Yeah, I'm incredibly skeptical about Zaha. It'd be nice if he did turn out to be a world beater, but has he even played against top opposition yet? Even in a League Cup capacity?

Nice goal by Ibrahimovic. I had heard about it earlier today, but hadn't been able to see it yet.

Gerrard called it the greatest goal he's ever seen. Not sure I completely agree (mainly because the England defense was napping, otherwise someone should have been able to head it away), but still, it is an incredible piece of athleticism.

Crouch's goal against Man City was better on every count

    1) Further away
    2) Tighter angle
    3) Had to control it first
    4) Actually had a goalkeeper to beat

Yeah, I'd say it's the greatest empty net goal ever. Still, I don't know which goals Gerrard has seen so I really can't dispute his claim. :p

Not going to get into a discussion about where each goal ranks but I'll touch on two points:

    (a) Having to control a feeble header as he did made it easier for him
    (b) He had his feet on the ground, which made it easier for him
