And a bit of common sense prevails at last. Hazard's ban is not extended.

In other news, Villa pushing forward for an equaliser. They are hoping to buy a goal from West Brom before the transfer window closes

EDIT: And Beckham must be the nicest guy in the history of football. Good on him!

Meanwhile, QPR seem intent on fielding a first 11 made up entirely of strikers.

Well, at least they are more likely to score :p

I have been hearing talk of the Samba transfer costing QPR up to £35million, yet the fee paid for him is only £12.5million

Strange for Swansea to sell Danny Graham, Michu is obviously class but what if he gets injured? Plus I feel Swansea were better in some ways when Michu played in midfield with Graham up front.

I want QPR to go down even more now. If that were possible.

Can't say that yet. He's had a great impact upon the Premier League, but it's only half a season against defences unused to him. Jelavic had a storming first six months, but this season he's really struggled. Michu is a long way from class.

bit of a lame window, then.

Butland for £3.5m is a hell of a bargain, though.

So, Odemwingie turned up at QPR when no transfer had been agreed expecting to just be signed-up? That's kinda random.

But LOL @ Being told to go back once he arrived.

Lent is fast approaching and I may well give up Chelsea again. Supported Tottenham last year. Not sure who to go for this year.

What an entertaining game from Ghana - Cape Verde. Cape Verde very unlucky to not get a goal - Dauda, the Ghanaian Keeper, was just masterful. Cape Verde put seven shots on target in the second half. Ghana lucky to escape and advance to the semifinals. Unfortunate to see "Cinderella" eliminated from the tournament, but maybe we can finally get that Ghana - Cote d'Ivoire final.

We need a new picture. We should have a meet up at Stamford Bridge.

    LOL @ Chelsea

United increase pressure on City, can't afford to lose if they don't want to be 10 points behind.
Not that they still couldn't make that up

I don't think City can make that up. Not because City are a poor side, but because I just can't see United dropping that many points relative to their own haul.

They were 8 points ahead last season though and City made that up (and that was with fewer games to go).

SAF learns, though. He won't get stung like that in successive seasons. Plus City have just lost the greatest player in the world.

Mancini made an interesting point about the CL thoiugh, United have to play Everton the weekend before they play Madrid and so balancing the team for a tough run of fixtures will not be easy and is a burden City don't have.

Now that's a good point. The CL is a risk - but I still think United's experience will win out. Although, I don't see us getting anything at Old Trafford. We can't defend anymore. :p

United haven't exactly been great in that department either.

In fact none of the top sides have really.

I hope Liverpool can play as well today as they did against Arsenal, without the bit of conceding last minute goals and throwing away their lead :p

Still, a draw would be OK.
